Welcome to the Toronto FC x BMO NXT LVL Cup! A FIFA 23 esports tournament presented by BMO in partnership with Toronto FC and Ontario Soccer! The competition features both a competitive and casual division with $10,000 in prizes to be won, including $2,500 cash, PlayStation 5 consoles, copies of EA FC 24, Toronto FC jerseys and merch. The competition runs throughout September, culminating with a live event for the Grand Finals in Toronto at BMO Field on Wednesday, September 27th. The champion will also have the opportunity to play in a showcase match against a Toronto FC player! The competitive divisions feature structured, scheduled gameplay against other competitors. These will be available on all consoles, next gen and previous gen. There will be a Toronto FC Fan Division, BMO NXT LVL Division, and Ontario Soccer Division. There will be two weeks of competing online. The top 8 players in each division advance to a closed bracket. The winners of those closed brackets will be invited to BMO Field in Toronto on Wednesday, September 27th to compete in-person against winners from the other consoles and other divisions to crown our overall Toronto FC x BMO NXT LVL Cup Champion! The casual division offers a fun and unstructured way to be involved and win prizes without having to worry about being the best FIFA player. For every match played (win or lose) as Toronto FC in FIFA 23 (or using Toronto FC logo + kits in Ultimate Team or Pro Clubs), you will receive 1 entry into a prize draw done on September 23rd. You can play as often as you want and on your own schedule. Prize draws for the casual gaming division include a PlayStation 5 console, Toronto FC jerseys and copies of EA FC 24. In addition, whoever plays the most in the casual division will automatically win a PlayStation 5 console!
