Hey guys, I stumbled across the site while browsing one of my normal "deal" locations. You post games you have, but don't want any more. You will mail it to someone who wants it, and you earn credit for it. You can then use these "points" to purchase a game you want from someone else. It's definately worth more than trading your games in to the EB Ripoff down the street. It costs $1 for you to receive a game. Literally. Sign up this month and you get one trade credit and 100 points free, AND if you use my ref link you get ANOTHER trade credit and 100 points after you make your first trade. If nothing else, it's worth signing up and getting a 100 point game like a classic that you can't find ANYWHERE or a lower end title that you've wanted to try but never had the guts to buy it. http://www.goozex.com/trading/asp/join.asp?idr=562679189054 Let me know what you guys think.
there is also this site, I haven't tried it though.. http://www.playswitch.com/PlaySwitchHomePage.aspx?AspxAutoDetectCookieSupport=1
The only difference I see is with Playswitch you can barter for the games. Goozex has a set point value for each game so everyone gets the same deal.
Here's an email I received just so you guys can see a little more inside the operation if you're still leary: Hello Allynon, The game you have requested is in the mail! Video game requested: "Sneak King" (platform: Xbox 360) Mailed to you by <Monstrel> within: 1 days(s) Please allow up to 14-16 additional days for the game to be delivered to your address. In case of any problem, you are always protected by the Goozex Guarantee: Goozex will refund you for any game that is lost, stolen, damaged or illegally copied. Once you have received the game, please remember to go to your Request page and submit feedback about the transaction. This allows you to receive additional games from your wish list, and helps making Goozex a better system for everyone!
They don't do the greatest job explaining the trade credits...like what's the difference between trade credits and points? And two, If you trade a game or a couple games to someone else, how much does that earn you (in terms of eventually getting a game yourself)?
I use this site and it works great once you get the hang of how everything works. Ive gotten two 360 games and some ps1 games ive been looking for all for a couple bucks and some games I will never play again.
