    Turning off the stri

I mentioned this in another post...

but for those who did not know... there are some other options that you can adjust when you're at the team select screen.

    You can:

    Turn off the strike zone
Turn off the Auto Pop Fly thingy...
    Adjust Pitch Type...

I played WSB without a strike zone last year and highly recommend it... it's easier to see the pitch for the batter and easier to move the strike zone around for a pitcher... (giving the illusion of where the strike zone actually is...) It was a whole lot better in WSB... I assume that it's as good on this game....

I'll give it a try tonight. Let me know what you guys think and how it turns out!

That sounds like a great idea Killermonkey. I will also give this option a try.

Good, I hate the pop-fly lock on thing, it takes you out of the game.

I also prefer to be on the mound if I'm pitching vs. behind the plate. I don't know why the default is the way it is.

There are options for the 1st person camera, but I don't think you can change the pitchers view?

are you saying you can do this in online play? Offline I play without strike zone and pop-fly cut scene. That would be really cool if we could play without the strike zone online - I actually think it hinders us.

Badass!! I think we should not use the strike zone in this league. I am sure that this has been brought up in another post, but I just wanted to make sure my $.02 was heard - not that anyone cares. :)

I agree. For one the Strikezone is not realistic and two it makes picking up the pitches even easier!

This is awesome news, and I'm sure we'll end up disabling both options for the league.

Now, if we could just disable the rumble feature too, that would help increase our walk totals.

for some odd reason my rumble feature is always off.

i'll get a rumble for an inning if i'm lucky then it'll be off, so i'm usually guessing with my joystick on my pitches anyway.

and yes i have it set to YES in the options menu? could be my controller, maybe time for a new one??

are you saying the only camera option for pitching is behind the plate? as opposed to behind the pitcher? that would be EXTREMELY horrible news (sorry, havent ventured online yet fellas)

I've played a few games with the no strike zone option and I must say it is much better.

I played half a game before I got booted and I liked it a lot too. Harder to judge balls but I will get used to it.

i'm currently in my gm mode offline and i play on legend without strikezone, it's hard but fun...making a game more challenging makes the game that much more worth it.

I say we go with no strike zone and no fielder lock... I'll probably just leave the cams the same...

The Fielder lock makes it too easy especially when its windy to catch balls.. and so I think it can offer some mistakes by guys in the out field when there is nobody on...

I dont care either way about strike zone.. My only problem ive had without it is the low ball.. Some reason I keep picking it up as a strike and its out of the strike zone...

Can we adjust the batters cam from LOW ZOOM to LOW WIDE? I like the low wide view much better. It's such a slight difference but it works for me.

I also play with auto pop-ups OFF> This will really test players skills.
