I love that players just cant PLAY THE GAME. Quit your bitching about how high you will go in bidding. I am going to use active as an example since he is no longer an Owner, but Dub I am sorry, I am going to bid you through the roof if I know active is trying to get you. If I have the space I would rather you be on my team than his probably sick trade-rape everyone roster. (VHL referrence) Not too mention, look at the Owners, if you are upset on what team you are on, quit the league. We have 30 hand-picked Owners by some of the best individuals in the community. If I am a top player (which I dont feel that I am), I am happy to play for any of these Owners, because whether you think so or not each of the Owners is going to be able to build a solid team top to bottom.

This isnt the EASHL where you can pick what team you want to play for. If you want to do that you shouldnt be in a league where you can't control where you play, plain and simple.

I have respect for a lot of you top players, such as Dub, FSU, Bass, YouSee, and so on..(dont take offense if I didnt name you) but quite frankly the, "If I am going to a team I dont want to go to and my salary is high, I am going to be a doucher and not play the way I would normally." it gets old. Play the game.

Please don't lecture me on the ethics of virtual hockey, when you just said you (like some other owners) would worry about screwing another owner before worrying about building your own team. I have always shown up and played regardless of the team I was on, I have never demanded a trade in my 12 seasons in VHL (nor my 2 in LG/ 2 in SSHL), and I have never fucked around on the ice, aside from LBing darth and company after the teabagging thread.

There are great owners in this league, yes. I have never said if I get picked up by a "bad at the buttons" owner I would play like an idiot. I said if I get into a situation where an owner thinks 1 person can be the general of a 500k army, then I will show them that's not how you try to win. Besides, as long as I'm on my shitty west coast connection, I'm honestly not deserving of anything past 2nd line.

If we're not going to be winning games, I'm at least going to have some fun (that's what everyone preaches leagues are about right?) knocking people around.

I never once said I was trying to screw over an Owner. I said I would bid you through the roof with the intention of being able to put around a solid group of guys around you. I also said that if I had the space I would do it. Reading is hard. Not my intent to lecture I'm not your DAD. I just get fed up with good players such as yourself saying if you go to a "bad" team you will turn into something you're not.

 

People just need to ask themselves WWSRBD; What would SeaRed Bull do?
