Western Central: 1. Iowa Wild (8-1-0 16 points) The Wild are run by @MIKE x SCOTT, this team came out absolutely scorching and shocked many people. Mikes team last season got off to a very slow start and he made sure that wasn't gonna happen again. They outscored their opponents 42 to 28. They were led by @recyclebinhero who went 6-0-0 with an 81.5 save% and a 2.34 GAA DP in his first full week in the AHL and @KnifeVet22 who went 3-0-0 with 11 points. The Wild however didn't stay the same roster, they moved on from @Domi_x_13 and brought in @Gthumbz42o and called up @bmasker15 and @RiCo505, think they made this team better over the weekend. Key Players: @recyclebinhero @Gthumbz42o @KnifeVet22 Week 2 expectations: 7-1-1 or 6-2-1 GOTW: Iowa Wild (8-1-0) @ Providence (8-0-1) Tuesday 10:30 2. Milwaukee Admirals (7-1-1 15 points) The president winning Admirals are back for more, ran again by @JC Enterprise. They were already set to start the season, you're welcome for that btw. But for real this man just knows how to build teams. Outscoring opponents 34 to 18 is impressive. Any goalie who has a sub 2GAA deserves any mention, and @DavosJB came to play this week going 3-0-0 with a 82.8 Save% and a 1.67 GAA they were carried upfront by @JuniorHawk16 who went 3-0-0 with 12 points. Staying put in the trade department they don't really have a need to switch anything up and should expect another big week. Key Players: @DavosJB @JuniorHawk16 @Grxffon Week 2 expectations: 6-2-1 GOTW: Bridgeport (4-5-0) @ Milwaukee (7-1-1) Monday 8:30 3. Texas Stars (5-2-2 12 points) The Stars are ran by @PlayboiPryme who had a slightly surprising week in my eyes, didn't think they were a bad team, but also didn't think they would be sitting 3rd in the division. They outscored opponents 28 to 22. They were led in week 1 by @Garis93 who went 2-0-1 with 10 points and @Darcy Kuemper who went 4-1-0 with an insane 91.8 Save% and a 1.19 GAA. The Stars who had a good week were quick to move on from goalie @Askarov x 30 and picked up @PHJ314. Expect that Stars to have a similar week. Rockford IceHogs (5-3-1 11 points) The IceHogs are run by @Sportfreak114 started the season outscoring opponents 29 to 25. This team is kinda strange, they aren't really like bad, but also aren't great. I don't see a true top line here, but they were led by @LordApod who went 2-1-0 with 10 points and @blunceworth who went 2-0-1 with 3 points from the blue line. Chicago Wolves: (4-3-2 10 points) The wolves are ran by @jyeti15s.....I mean @fRiS3RMaST3rQc the Wolves had a decent week to start the season, when not many people would have predicted them to be 4-3-2. They couldn't keep the puck out of the net more then they could put it in this week and were outscored 33 to 30. While being led by @DrBerny47 who went 1-0-2 with 8 points and @NBD l Karma l who went 2-1-0 with 8 points. It didn't stop them from knowing what was wrong and trying to fix it quickly. The Wolves went out and moved on from @STEEL PHANTOM and picked up @Holta and @Disney x 97 @GIJoe Destro. Grand Rapids Griffins (4-5-0) The Griffins are run by @CubsCrusher14 who were outscored 28 to 26 this week. Were led by @CubsCrusher14 who went 3-0-0 with 8 points and @Reidsss who went 2-1-0 with 8 points. The Griffins were not staying put as they weren't happy with the week went on to pick up @I Matthews 34 I and @Txrks3573 looking to improve from week 1 I expect them to have a slightly better week. Manitoba Moose (3-5-1 7 points) The Moose are run by @Yonnnnnnn x 13 the Moose didn't have the kind of week anyone expected as the last season Moose run by @Yonnnnnnn x 13 fell just 1 game short of a Calder Cup Appearance. The Moose look to bounce back quick after being outscored 33 to 27 in week 1. The Moose were led by @l MB7 l who went 2-1-0 with 12 points and @Yonnnnnnn x 13 who went 2-0-1 with 12 points. The Moose didn't make any moves yet this week so either means they have trades waiting to be processed or they believe in the system and think they have the team that is better then 3-5-1 only time will tell. San Antonio Rampage (0-7-2 2 points) The Rampage are run by @Saad Excuse who, is a great dude but struggled a little building a team last season in the C and probably should have given it 1 more season down there, however I do see potential in this team after some moves. The Rampage were outscored by a whopping 40 goals to 17. Can't really blame the goalies for that, but all 3 departments of Defense and Goalies and Forwards need to be better in their own zone. No one really led this team this week, but have to give the goalies some props for having an above 70 Save% after that kind of week, @SamEvilSon and @TheSaveMaker. The Rampage did make some moves they shipped out @Deez wit cheez @Lowdss and picked up @iamcooln and @welley1993 which I think is a step in the right direction here. Colorado Eagles (7-2-0 14 points) The Eagles are run by @skyre5 this team might be the best management group there is in the AHL right now. @Smitterr and @TeachMe18 are great players to be around a stud in @skyre5 and it shows how they sit 1st in their division right now. The Eagles outscored opponents by a suffocating amount, 45 to 21. The Eagles were led by some players outside of management such as, @MARTINEZ2619 who went 3-0-0 with 11 points and @Tastypeanut 5 who went 3-1-0 with an 87 Save% and a 1.75 GAA. The Roadrunners outscore opponents with a slim margin of 27 to 25 yet end up in 2nd place in the division, this team knows how to win those close games. They were led by @l Laps x 97 l who went 2-0-1 with 10 points and @VK M00t who went 2-0-1 with 7 points. Adding @An AngryFawn to this offense might help open up the GD this week. San Diego Gulls (5-2-2 12 points) The Gulls are run by @Daooust, the Gulls outscored opponents 42 to 30. This team honestly surpassed me the most. After not starting bidding till day 2 or 3, they had a really big week behind @Patmo x 16 who went 3-0-0 with 20 points and @Suzuki I14I who went 3-0-0 with 12 points. They did trade @PHJ314 for @Askarov x 30 which could help them in between the pipes. Palm Springs Firebirds (5-3-1 11 points) The Firebirds are run by @Johnkenne y01. The Firebirds outscored people 37 to 27. A majority of this team is PSN guys, which could help them due to hidden chemistry and talent, but could hurt as some may not be used to the xbox controls over time. The Firebirds were led by @xiThomas11x who went 1-1-1 with 11 points and @Hughesy_71 who went 1-1-1 with 11 points. The Firebirds made a splash in the trade department acquiring @Nardo x 19 @o Mon0poly o and @Rocky9169 which helps the team but moving on from players like @Banak @Streetsmurf @Holland X 98 might come back to bite them. Going 3-2-0 in 1 is also a reason. The Barracuda were led by @Mt Willard who went 3-0-0 with 4 points and @Notorious0ne617 who went 4-1-0 with an 85.7 Save% and a 1.72 GAA. The Barracuda made a little noise this week in the trade department by adding @Hautein and moving on from @PitcheRxSwaGx. Ontario Reign (2-5-2 6 points) The Reign are run by @IM HEARTLESS323 who needs to stop managing honestly, and @FalsexHopex204 who should have stayed in the C for another season or just not agreed to this situation. The Reign were outscored 49 to 26, letting up that many goals is never a good thing, but when one of those goalies is your GM you might be in for a long season. However, the Reign were led by @lProvy l9l who went 1-1-1 with 11 points and @Reynoldsx24 who went 1-1-1 with 9 points. Really not making many roster moves is a cause for concern here.
