Week 2 Team of the Week

*don’t forget this is based on stats entered by about 430pm EST on Friday before I leave work*

So for week 2 there was a lot of surprises to say the least, and that made for one of the most entertaining weeks in LGBA in quite some time. I talked last week about how holding some of the better players to higher standards means they may not be in the team of the week if they are just doing their average each week, even if it is higher than the average Joe, so keep that in mind.

We’ll start with the stat leaders from last week.

And now we get onto the team of the week!!!

6th Man (TC of the week) - ll Jig ll (Hornets)

Jig went 3-0 vs the Warriors, Nuggets and Pistons, averaging a 39 point double double, with his highlight game being against the Nuggets, dropping 52 and 9.

PG – Jello30 (Lakers)

Jello had another great week, leading his line to a 3-0 record vs the Hawks, Heat and 76ers while average 24.6 ppg and 16.6 apg. His highlight was dropping 22 and 19 over the Hawks in the first game of the night.

SG – xTreyday (Nets)

Treyday had a 2-1 week dropping a game to the Lakers, but taking down the Pistons and Nuggets, averaging 12.3 ppg, 7.3 apg and 3.9 spg. His playmaking and defence from the 2 really helped the nets out this week, with his highlight game being against the nuggets when he dropped 15 points, 8 assists and 6 steals.

SF – SUNDAY KILLERS (Warriors)

Despite going 0-2 dropping games to the Sixers and Hornets, Mike had a solid week averaging 23 ppg and 2 steals, on 79% and 73% shooting. His highlight was dropping a 30 piece against the Hornets, despite the loss.

PF – RussRebrands (Lakers)

Russ had a 2-0 week averaging 15.6, 5.6, 6.0, 3.0 and 2.0, absolutely filling the stat sheet against the Nets and Hawks. His highlight came against Atlanta when he dropped 21, 10, 8, 2 and 3.

C – Viz VE (Jazz)

With the Jazz having a huge week, a big part of that was due to Viz’s performance. He went 3-0 against the Hawks, Hornets and Sixers, averaging 18.3 ppg and 19.3 rpg, alongside 4 apg, 2 spg and 1 bpg. His highlight coming against the Hornets when he dropped 21, 21, 5, and 4.
