Being from the Carolinas....I know Cheerwine! LOL!

I have never shipped soda before but there is always a first time for everything...let me know if you need some.

My favorite beer is Highland Oatmeal Porter...Made locally in the Carolinas. It is a smooth dark beer, not harsh like Guiness, and lately I have had a lot of it. As for ole faithful...Miller Lite.

I just had some awesome beer from a small brewery in Cooperstown, NY called Brewery Ommegang. I had their Ommegang Abbey Ale. It was so good. It is a "Belgium style" ale what ever that means which I am guessing it means "really good". I am sure guys in the Northeast can get this beer. I recommend it to anyone that likes a darker beer. They have regular beers but I haven't tried them yet.

It's been a while, any other drink ideas out there?

I still drink some of the suggestions posted earlier in this post.
    SOCO with Sierra Mist
SOCO with DR. Pepper - To get the wife to try it, I cut the ends off of red Licorice and used it as a straw. She still didn't like it.

I've been drinking some Vodka lately also. I had to try this Red Bull thing all these kids are drinking, so I mixed it with Peach Vodka. I actually enjoyed it. So now I keep flavored Vodka on hand to mix with soda or Red Bull.

I typically like to try different drinks to mix it up, but it has to be easy to make (2 or 3 ingrediants max).

I also still keep the meiser filled with Miller Lite for those light nights. Most of my drinking nights are light these days so I get plenty of use out of the meiser.

I usually just stick to Rum and Cokes, using either Captain Morgan's Spiced or FLOR DE CANA BLACK LABEL 5 YR OLD or sometimes the 7 year old. It's from Nicaragua.

apart from that, I would have to say the best drink I have had ina long time would be Absolut Vodka Pears with ginger ale and topped with Lime wedges. Give it a shot, you will NOT regret it!

I'm a Jack and Coke or Captain and Coke kinda guy. Of course I drink more than my share of beer too. I am also partial to Cuervo Black and Coke. Good stuff there.

I'm a typical Rum and coke guy but when I have a bad day, like last Sunday, a shot of Hennessey isn't far behind.

mostly beer: Molson, Moosehead, Killian's or Labatt's are my first choices. Red Bull and vodka if I need a pick me up, SoCo and coke, or Tanquery and tonic. Shots of SoCo or Patron.

Usually I'm just a beer drinker. There's a local Colorado brew called "Flying Dog" that I like. Their "In Heat Weat" is a great hefeweisen and is great any time of the year.

If I'm out on the town looking to down a few Mixies; I lean towards the Vanilla Absolut + Coke or Crown + Coke. There's always the Tuaca and Red Bull for the crazy nights.

I wonder...is it possible to send beer through the Mail or FedEx? It would be nice to try out microbrews from other places around the country without the hassle of dealing with local distribution channels.

Being a cheap college student, my nighttime drink of choice is usually Evan Williams straight up. Sometimes if I'm feeling spendy I'll get a 750 of JW Black (tried Red but couldn't stand it; I can handle a harsh whiskey but not a harsh scotch), but since I won't be winning any awards for my tastebuds the cheaper whiskey usually is enjoyable enough.

Beerwise I usually stick with Yuengling, Newcastle, and Guinness... although there's a 6-pack of Sam Adams Cherry Wheat in my fridge that I'm enjoying very much. If I'm tailgating or at a party, then I can deal with Bud Light.

I was thinking I could trade some excellent Colorado Mountain brew for some of that Canuck Ale. I don't want Moosehead, Labatt's or any Canadian beer that is equal to Coor's.

    LOL

I am almost exlusively a beer drinker when it comes to alcoholic beverages (with the occasional glass of wine with dinner). When I feel like a smoother drinking beer I'm partial to Steamwistle (or the Whistle pop as my niece calls it), which is a local Toronto microbrew pilsner. When I want to drink something with a bit more bite (while still being "drinkable") I go with a Stella Artois.

I'm pretty much just a beer guy now. I kind of left the hard stuff alone when I stopped going out to the bars. See what having a family did to me..lol. I seem to go through phases with my beer(s) of choice, but over the last year or so, I seem to be buying mostly Alexander Keith's India Pale Ale (Brewed in Nova Scotia, Canada). Although the odd case of a Honey Brown lager sneeks it's way in the house every now and then.

Keith's is always a good safe beer BBB. For me it has replaced all the beers I drank in my "younger days" as a good beer that is available pretty much anywhere.
