What does your Gamertag mean?

Well it all started one day when I was playing Halo and i kept on killing everyone....

After that i was just The Phat Bandit.

Hahah just kidding actually me and my friend were making up names one day for clans and stuff cause we were bored... and we had ideas like The Rainbow Warriors and just funny ones, but then he said The Phat Finger Bandits. So affter a while both of us were just known as The Phat Finger Bandit crew. and so i wanted my gt to be the phat finger bandit but that wouldnt fit....

just thank god you dont play with someone named The Rainbow Warrior!!

everyone but my mom calls me murph, so it was a no brainer. murph was taken, so i took murph17 which has been my hockey number since i was like 10.

The origination is actually from Married with Children. GrandmasterB was Bud Bundy's street rapping alterego. Many of my friends and co-workers refer to me as "B", so I added the Grandmaster for dramatic effect. It wasn't until I started using the name online that I learned it was used by Bud Bundy.

DemonSpawn - Child of demon I guess, idk, I just liked the name and thought it sounded cool.

DemonSpawn was taken, so I had to add 78, the year I was born :razz:

My old tag was PsychopathicM.

I use to be into ICP (Insane Clown Possie) real heavy back in the day, so Psychopathic records was what I listened to, M - Mike.

 

Mine means "the fancied production of one organism by another organism of different species". So you guys are supposed to think my parents were aliens or something...or maybe sheep. I thought it just sounded cool plus it's easy to find me in the directory,

 

The first game I had to play when I got LIVE was the first ESPN NHL 2K on the original XBOX and I was anxious going through thesignup process and my mind went blank, and I thought it was an important step since I would be stuck with it, so I came up with a quote from the movie slapshot, "Eddie Shore? Old time hockey?" I capitalize the OTH for emphasis.

Glad I did cause I always get tons of positive comments. Like to be called OldTimeHockey, OTH, OldTime. Its amazing how everyone thinks I'm Canadian just by my gamertag. Or young kids calling me an old timer.

 

very funny, when I originally saw your name that was the first thing i thought of was bud bundy and GrandmasterB.. I used to watch that show every week "classic".

For me Bones56= Bones (nickname since I was young) 56= One of the greatest Defensive players to ever live "The Original LT (Lawrence Taylor)

 

when I signed up for XBL and they asked what I wanted my gamertag to be , I drew a blank..... My Daughter who was 2 at the time loved Dora the Explorer and one of her 1st words was 'swiper' .... as in swiper the fox:

J Con part of my first and last names respectively. Nickname I got in high school and carried to college, along with just "J" as my closest friends knew me by. 77 was my high school football number and I used it when I captained an intramural football team while in college.

GMB or GrandmasterB wasn't available. It was hockey season and the only thing I could think of was BlackBiskit (aka hockey puck). Burned biscuit didn't sound as good.
