I started my career 0-4-1 with a whopping 8 points and a +/- at a measly -6. I thought my career was over once i was waived. I was in-and-out of drug rehabs, relapse after relapse, my career was headed for the deep end. Growing up being the high school varsity quarterback and hockey team captain, my life was only about girls and glory. As i soon was offered a full ride to Michigan, my career had been taken mainstream. The young HockeyTownHero was breaking school record after school record, some comparing him to the late great Stevie Y. Little did he know how soon it all was to change.

The Hurricanes have drafted HockeyTownHero9 55th overall in season 24 of the LGHL

Projected a top-10 pick in the s24 draft, my draft stock plummeted after being accused of partying after curfew and hitting strip club after strip club on a weekly basis. Videos surfaced of my outrageous actions days before Draft Day, GMs seemed to sway away from the crazy superstar ego I had obtained from my early age success. Once I got the call I was going to Charlotte, my career was over before I knew it.

Second Redemption.

The Gulls have claimed HockeyTownHero9 off of waivers

San Diego still to this day was the best thing to ever happen to me. The pressure was gone, I had no expectations to fill, and I was on the last place team in the league. What more worse can happen?

HockeyTownHero was on the map.
My short tenure in San Diego made me realize things. I took many friends and family for granted during my young career, and being away from it all made me capable of realizing who was truly there for me and who was not. And from the bottom of my heart, i want to thank the organization of San Diego for being a stepping stone in the career of a LG Legend.

Leadership Presence

From my half a season on WBS, I have proven to be a leader in the locker-room on and off the ice. My experience through trials and tribulations of my career have given me wisdom and knowledge no-other was capable of. For the first time in my career, I made the all-star team and am arguably in the race for MVP considerations. But how much longer can one go without having the love and desire he once had for the game of hockey. It just isn't the same anymore. And as I have thought long and hard about my decision, I just know its time.


This is my farewell.


After Season 25 I will be hanging up my skates for the last time.

I want to thank everyone who impacted me in my career, from teammates to GMs to ECUs. I want to go down in the prime of my career on top, and hopefully bring WBS a Calder to go along with it.
