Who Did Best?

Calgary is looking pretty nice right now, along with Dallas.

 

I like the parity in the league. Everyones third lines are about the same.... A lot of teams lack depth. I think this season will be very interesting

 

Yeah I think line matching will be huge this year.

Avs look like a patched satchel, containing a jar of old man farts.

 

I'm shocked nobody's mentioned Nashville. I'm not going to pretend to know their exact line combos, but Hockeytown-Ehsian-Canucks, Masters-Gregorian-RW, Fig-Fiore-RW is a pretty good/balanced forward group. Add in solid defense that have chemistry already with their forwards and you have a pretty solid team. They also have almost 4 in cap space if they wish to make some aggressive trades later in the season.

They might lack "star power" or whatever you want to say, but their team is deep, and that's more than you can say about most teams right now, IMO.

I think everyone is against Ottawa due to Hopkins being my GM.. Truth be told.. Hopkins has been awesome thus far. And, Im glad everyone is against us. Will make It that much sweeter come playoffs and they are not in it. Play on players.. hate on haters..

I have 3 complete Lines that will win games. I have top level defense. I have grade A goalies. Im set... See you all in the playoffs.

 

Good:

LA - They picked up some good defensemen, and Cam. On forward they added Hit Dat and Mike Fig Jr. . Although they were unable to acquire Schnarzy to carry Mike Jr, lan is more than capable of picking up the slack. Matty B is also a good person.

ANA - Picked up solid pieces in every position, mainly the future Rocket Trophy winner in Bardock.

WPG - Jay was lucky enough to have Connor pick his entire team for him. Connor knows what he's doing.

Bad:

DET - A lot of interesting personalities on one team. Should be entertaining to see how this team turns out.

TOR - I seriously hope they put Guidice on FSU's line to see who snaps first.

WSH - Will Gremz play for them? Will Foster go emo? Fox hasn't put in NHL in over a month, including the last 2 rounds (3 weeks) of the playoffs, does he even still have a 360?

 

my line made viper rage quit a game because he couldn't win a faceoff, what a solid player to have.

Hes Playing defense so i don't think that will be a issue? Viper is a good person.
