For someone who barely makes the playoffs, let alone into the second round, Nuge sure does have a large ego. In fact when was the last time you were into the second round, Season 7 with dmerch and the boys?

We actually made it to the 2nd round together on Toronto in S9. Which is believe it, or not the worst I've ever done in Internet Hockey.

Toronto was S8, S9 Boston was 2nd round as well and would have been a cup win if [MENTION=6612]Above Average D[/MENTION] could show up to games. S10 and 11 my owners quit (Get fucking traded in S10 by the way) and S12 we were the closest team to upsetting the eventual cup winners in Chicago? How the fuck didnt you make it to the finals over that pathetic eastern conference that season? Not that you wouldnt have gotten swept by Chicago, or any Western team, but any competent team should have been better than New Jersey that season.

Very similar set up to this seasons roster.

Its intersting how many people from the teams that were tops then (Chicago, Boston, NYI) have a decent amount of players remaining in these playoffs. Odie, and Jakey have run their teams well, and their stats don't lie (but people do (only NHL 09-10 members will get that quote (DK's motto))).

Off the top of my head our squad has Lucic, Fbal, Panda, Hones, TKO, myself and Tanaka.

Boston had Jakey, Odie, Jewell, and that other nub he usually plays forward with.

Chicago had ActiveDAD, Mrak, and Cats.

Theres a few others that Im sure I have missed.

RIP HWOOD. We owned Chicago that season and had two first lines and a third line that could beat most other teams' first & second lines to boot. Then you add myself and Connor in net and it leaves the realm of being a contest at that point.

 

i never played buffalo. was on boston for two weeks. only game i lost was when i played kopitar xx undefeated line.
