    I haven't opened it yet. I just like knowing I have one :) The Mftg. date is 2/19/04 and the serial no. ends in 06. I read on another forum that means it has a Samsung drive. Good news!

    My drive is actually a Phillips. Works great. Load times are really fast. Spent about two hours putting all the DLC from every live enabled game I have on there.

    There's alot of stuff for free.

    I picked one up and when Halo 2 drops I'll take my current Xbox and make it a dedicated server running on my T-3 at work :)

    Yeah I picked up a Special Edition Halo XBOX probably about two-three weeks ago as my older xbox was starting to freeze mid-game, and would keep getting disconnects online. my online play is picking up a lot, and I can tell, and I am loving the new XBOX very much. Too bad I don't play Halo that much however.
