i dont mean to toot my own horn btu for my first season of management im more then pleased with how my team has come,we have batteled all the odds of having no name players, new management, we had our agm quit 2 weeks in, we have not had a forfiet loss yet, no league infractions...nothing i couldn't say more thanks to @You Got Obamad for guiding me along the way to getting 11 game win streak... but we can take away from them good team like the phantoms you guys did some pretty incredible things this season 14 in a row is amazing but you guys haven't had any struggles this season to make it special you guys tbh had the easier route but its all go Charlotte the team of "nobody's" is coming after you 14 win streak gl to all in the rest of the season btw GREAT WRITE UP!! PS @macros73 thanks pal for the kind words!:)

Lol I don't care what people think of my team in the end, how well we do in the playoffs or not will be the only thing judged upon. I don't have a model wife that's @Banging Models niche. We lost to the gulls best players that they had available on their squad. Good players beat good teams (shocking I know). Over the course of a season one teams line will have an advantage over another's.

Please though you'll have to try harder to convince me that the West is good. What you perceive as parity is just in actuality a lack of a strong enough team to take command of a division. (But that happens every season not like it's new) If you're so inclined head to head East top 8 versus the west. But that's a lot of time to figure out a outcome we already know.

Good luck your streak is impressive either way, as regardless of the opponents double digit streaks are difficult. I wouldn't say our path was easy though, don't confuse the two, we didn't have to deal with the same adversity as some other teams because we had it figured out from day 1, the groundwork for our team was set and we managed to improve marginally every week with trades (none of which were lopsided in the least) which has lead to our success.

A huge amount of credit has to go to @mashle93 that despite his NHL squads struggles he really bit the bullet to keep us as competitive as we were. 90% of owners wouldn't have done what Mashle did and I'm more than grateful to him and the rest of Philly management.

i totally agree with what your saying i can say the same for @Schneider Vice never called up raped us made trades with me to help us keep going he realized early on that we got a chance at something and help me improve my team so with what you were saying @Kirito x58 they is only a few gms that would do that for their team so they are the real mvp!

Impossible to judge d-men you don't get to see play, so people tend to go of what appears to be making the most impact, I did disagree with sailor being chosen for your team I thought it would be Bell, but as a G you have the clearest view on the ice as to who plays good defense, not exactly fair to put someone else in your shoes to determine good defense men.

    NOW we have a story.

I've asked site staff for the data I'd need to do the comparison where points earned are weighted by difficulty of team played. I know how busy they are, but if I get it, game on.

@macros73 you have a lot of bark for sitting outside playoffs ;). The gulls top line has beat pretty much every top team, it's well put together.

As for the Funtoms being the deepest team in the east, Springfield has beat them 3/5 times this season. That is with Springfield using a different lineup almost every game and the Funtoms using their top line (so would that then make Springfield the deepest team for winning with mixed lines vs a top one?). Depth wise the two losses Springfield took were with their 3rd line vs Lehigh's first and 2nd or 3rd line??? Both one goal games, when Springfields top line came in vs Lehighs there was only one game that was 'one goal apart.'

This last week will be put up or shut up for all teams in the playoff hunt, Springfield see's lehigh twice and WBS twice and Stockton once. As long as Springfield doesn't take three penalties in the last 45 seconds up a goal vs stockton it should be a win and a preview for the calder cup.

call be bias but the stats don't lie. Oh if any of you were wondering I hate being called up and would rather still be in the A.

I've done the same thing as an owner, what's wrong with an NHL team admitting their lower league has a better shot of competing than them? Whats the sense in taking the AHLs players (besides preventing forfeits) to marginally better your record and neither team has a shot to win it all?

Anyway it's moot I'm sure everyone and their mothers hoped and prayed for Philly to pillage their AHL team and got super butthurt to see we didn't lose a single player to them.

The 1-0 win was our 3rd line with an ECU RW. ;) That game we had against Pils Goblin and everyone was very fun, great players up and down the ice and we lost in overtime. we've had some pretty wonky games against Speingfield though, particularly that shit show where you lagged out in the first and it took about another hour to finish that game.

I've said it time and time again that Springfield isn't a squad I want to see in the playoffs, with such a complete 1st line that they feature.

I'm not starting an argument in any way, cause I too myself don't think I am my team's best dman. but I do believe that @Kirito x58 your statement is contradictory. I agree to an extent that @Bellx91 is the better dman. but bell has way more points then I do and statistically he probably has a better record then I because I missed a week of games, so I guess I'm just curious as to what constitutes a good dman in your opinion because I definitely think you could argue I could be a defensive mvp for my squad. And @dityboycom quit trolling me.

For me personally, and granted their really isn't many D in the AHL like this, how good a D men is on both sides of the puck how much you can threaten a team with your ability to create but still defend at a above average rate, sailor I only say Bell because I've played against him at the NHL level and even once this season, he's a good player but you're no slouch by any means either.

I take no offense to your statement whatsoever. I have played wing for so long, I have made a switch to playing defense competitively in this league to make a name for myself. I tasted NHL at wing but didn't last long (too many good ones) Hopefully I cant start to make a name for myself and get back to that level. @Kirito x58 my own management @Prowsey8 @Riemersmaa and @PahkTheCah1387 even said when they traded for me they didn't know what they were going to get because they only knew of me as a winger. I can 100% guarantee you that no one expected this from me. And I did my own research just because I was curious, 15 of my 22 games are against playoff teams as of right now, so no one can say that my stats are because of weak "scrub hunting"

Record and +/- were my biggest factors choosing people especially against teams I really haven't faced often. Most teams I had a hard time choosing between talented d and forwards, don't read to much into things.

Don't know if this is directed at me, which by the way @Xl WOJO lX thanks for the nod as mvp for my team. but I wasn't throwing out my own stat nugget as a cheap shot esque at anyone. just trying to keep to birds at bay lol
