Average Player Ages in LG

i am 33

 

No offense to anybody here, but I seem to be noticing that the 30+ age group all seem to be AHL/CHL players. Does this mean our thumb skills deteriorate the older we get? Is it all down hill from here?

 

Two things:

2) This is especially a really stupid comment or assumption on age and physical ability. Perhaps you should consider time and ability to commit like an irresponsible, care free teenager has compared to most individuals out of college and actually needing to make a living? I'm sure if anyone older could play 8 hours a day without concern for their livelihood, they'd be epic and elite chel players.

More proof LG is exactly what you expect in the internet when you mix different generations.

Wasn't looking to ruffle any feathers, just making an observation. I think there are plenty of 18-25 year olds making a living for themselves, living their lives, ect... while still being gifted at chel. I also have played in a couple different leagues where the population is closer to the average age of 32, rather than 22, many of them spend countless hours on NHL yet still failed to progress in terms of talent which is why they prefer the other smaller leagues. Once again, I not not looking to offend anybody just stating what i was noticing. There is ABSOLUTELY nothing wrong with playing in the NHL, AHL or CHL it's all for fun.

Hell, i'm 30, glad to see aside from my pal puck that i'm not the only older age gap thats still playing this game.

as was stated earlier by someone, i do not feel that its our age that prevents us from playin in the "show" its the time commitments we have, i know with my work, coaching/teaching and family life, its hard to be on as much as i once was, but still find time for a few good old games of chel.

Oh yeah...and the reason we're not in the NHL is because we don't have 30 real-life friends on XBL waiting to draft us. Hell...I'm the only person I know my age who still does this stoopid shit, aside from some of you fine people.
