Draft

when can we expect the draft. Its always nice to open up the game and have your team picked and ready for scrimmages. Im going to need all the practice i can get.

 

Well we generally wait until we see who wants in before we do any kind of draft. The reason being some people when the game come out don't want to be in the league. So when the game comes out look for the team sign up thread :wink:

Well, I know that no1 besides me will be fighting for Illinois, Northern Illinois, or Northwestern! At least I know if I decide to join this league I will be able to get my team

 

I don't understand why we're going to have a draft....I thought the returning members were able to keep their old teams just like in every other league?....if the draft is the case, I know I'm not going to be able to stand a chance at getting my old team, USC

i think it would be fair to the new members, who didn't partake in the last league here, but was in another league at another site... without the draft i know i will not be able to play with my team, cause there's always a vols fan in every league...

 

Still, we've been dedicated members since the beginning, and for someone with eight posts to have the chance to get our teams, when half of them aren't gonna show up is just nonsense.

It's how its done here. You have to work your way up and eventually you can get the teams you wanna play with. Just stick around and show that your dedicated and you will really enjoy yourself here with the multitude of leagues that we provide with great scoreboards. Maybe you will even get the team you want you just never know.

 

Yes, if you are a returning team from last season (season 2) you will have first dibs on your team. Good news for the newer guys, there weren't that many in season 2. I don't remember all of them, but do know that these teams are taken:

Texas Tech
USC
Florida State

I have to check on these:
Michigan
Penn State


Other than that, the teams should be open this time around.

I saw mention of:

Tennessee
Pittsburg
Maryland
N. Illinios or Northwestern

There should be no problems there, at least that I can see right now. Do not loose hope. I would like to think that I act fairly and will attempt to do so once again when team selection comes along. I might just start up another thread to get some idea of what we are looking at when it comes to this procedure.

 

you act as if new members can't be dedicated or wasn't dedicated at another site... and my post count has nothing to do with me getting a fair shot at picking a team that i want, instead of, basiclly, being handed one... now that's nonsense. [-(

:foak: Madden Season 2 (finished the season) I am a diehard Raiders fan so this works out well :wink:


NHL

:hdet: Finished season6 (30 + games) The Wings are the only team I care about, so that worked out well.

long story short, pay your dues, stick around and be patient. I see that you have 10 posts, 1 has been in Pixel lounge and 9 in NCAA it's nice to see that you are interested in NCAA but spread out and play some exhibition games in all leagues that interest you. Please don't worry about getting a crappy team either, Marauders and I were talking about it last night and he is rather impressed that everybody is picking different teams from all over the map, which means that you may or may not get your number 1 pick.

Seniority is rewarded at LG and that's not nonsense. :wink:

 

yeah i plan on visiting the other sections, after i finish season 3...

i really don't like playing in two diffrent leagues/seasons at the same time... i like to focus on one season at a time and when it's over with then i'll focus on the next league season... and that's why i mainly post in here

Ill be happy just to play in this league wether i get Pitt or not. if i dont im sure i can find another good team. There are plenty of good teams to play with unless this league has more than 35 owners everyone will have a decent team. I respect the owners that been playing before me. They should get first crack of who they want thats fair.
