Hobo's Bidding Contract Studs and Duds

this thread is not about telling people who is bad and who is good. I never said that. I'm just judging to see if the contracts are worth it. I think your a good player but i dont think your worth 4.25 mil.

 

a winning season is a season you win the memorial cup/ calder cup/ stanley cup. Whatever the trophy of that league is. And you have also not won any of those trophy. Therefore you as well had a losing season

[MENTION=7043]HobO0nurporch[/MENTION] is a good GM and a good player's manager. He is not here to build a dynasty in the fucking AHL, he is here to give his players quality time to develop their skills and then move up the ranks.

We've been crying for media since the AHL Insider days and a guy gives some people something to talk about and they completely trash him. You can disagree respectfully and make your claims but to challenge the man's qualities of being a good manager or AHL player are totally irrelevant.

Vik had to play for awful teams last season (can vouch for this as I was his GM for a bit before he was sent up) and he is most definitely not a 2nd liner unless he's playing for a team who has more depth on their wings than the Marianas trench, c4y3n's been putting up great numbers since VHL days, so your logic that "without those 2 hes bad" is absolutely flawed. As far as myself, I led the VHLs AHL and CHL in points multiple times, and put up 77 points 2 season ago despite the fact I was traded to 6 different teams (3 of them being bottom feeders.)

If you're gonna do things like these, don't just click someone's profile because of their contract and look at their last season, actually know the players. No offense, I'm actually happy someone posted something that wasn't "hey guys bid on me I signed up" but I have to be honest, your opinion is kinda awful and wrong in about 50% of these.

Regardless, good write up Hobo. It's good to see more media. The AHL is full of lots of toxic individuals, best to just ignore them. You'll come to learn the majority of people in the AHL don't have the capability to have proper debates.

 

I am outraged that I didn't make the duds list. You'd think I would at least be good enough for that, I mean, c'mon man. I've also had to play against Vik. He was extremely annoying to defend and didn't fall down nearly as often as someone like, say, Howie DooFallDownLots. He'll produce.

 

First I never said C4 was bad. And Second this is not valuing player skill levels. Its valuing "bang for your buck". Is a player really worth that much

I've come to realize poker,sex,NHL 15 everyone thinks there good at..when the majority are not (myself included) lol.....it really is a wonderful comparison..

C4 won't have any problems putting up what he has previous seasons as long as he doesn't have CHL training camp level players, so he's defintely worth what he was paid.

Viktomize is a top Winger Who can adapt to just about any play style, so he's definetely worth what he was paid.
