First off sorry for timing I was at a showcase for hockey a few states away all weekend. Secondly we finally got enough writers to get a ranking done, note I left the format and content 100% up to the person writing.

Side note ranking broke into two posts, the form wouldn't let me make one big post for some reason.

    Eastern North-East

    [IMG] Syracuse - 56-12-4 (9-0-0) [IMG]
No surprise here, Syracuse continues to tear through the competition without trouble. This week alone, they blew out Bridgeport, Iowa, Texas, and San Antonio. They've practically locked up the top seed in the East with their performance as of late and they show no sign of slowing down. With @DatsyukianDeke0 and @Drake0807 throwing up 86 points and counting each, and the rest of the offense putting up decent numbers combined with solid goaltending on the back end from @Mindhunter114 and @MIKE l81l , the Crunch are definitely a force to be reckoned with. I'd mention their defense, but tagging all 6 of them seems overboard.

    [IMG] Albany - 52-18-1 (7-2-0) [IMG]
Another one thats not a surprise. Albany's a top team almost every season and this season they've consintenly beat up on every team once again, and this week was no different with a lot of high scoring games coming from the Devils including a 13-2 win over the Rampage. This is a team that clearly knows how to put the biscuit in the basket and has no trouble doing it against whatever team they come across, but really it shouldn't be that hard when you have 4 guys in the top 10 for points, all over 85 points. There's really nobody to single out on this team, they have 9 forwards that can all bury the puck, a strong all around defensive unti, with 2 decent goaltenders on the back end.

    [IMG] Bridgeport - 49-18-5 (6-3-0) [IMG]
Bridgeport isn't a team being carried by one guy, this team is like the definition of 3 parts working in unison. They don't blow kids out of the water with a huge amount of goals every game, but their offense is obviously capable of doing it. They don't necessarily shut people down on the defensive end, but they can stop some of the best players around. Their goaltending however, their goaltending is the shining star of the Tigers. @CH0SEN1 x and @xCBx Chuckles back stop this team to victories. @PahkTheCah1387 did a great job building an all around team that can hang with the best of them.

    [IMG] Hartford - 39-27-6 (5-3-1) [IMG]
God these guys suck, what kind of fool bids on @Sikk Vengeanc3 or @Big E DeLong ? All jokes aside, Hartford's been keeping themselves afloat with 4-5 win weeks and barely holding on to a playoff spot through the whole season. Their offense isn't much to behold, most of the players have a below average amount of points aide from @Day43 and @arnooney . Granted, I know a lot of these forwards can score on demand (hell I played with practically all of them I should know) They seem to all struggle when it's LG time. On the back end there isn't much to say, a lot of these guys are new to the site and in my opinion are weaker than the average D. I honestly believe that Hartford traded away some of their best D, but that's just one mans opinion. Goaltending wise, while @Grayzer x 30 moves out of the way of shots all the time, @Crabby Crawfish is a top goaltender that can steal games for a team.

    [IMG] Irrelevant - 29-41-2 (4-5-0) [IMG]
All I'm gonna sad is it's sad. It's sad because they're clearly a good team, which you can see with the way they continually beat top teams, but when your team is quitting out and forfeiting for whatever reason there's not much to say. They're eliminated, they've become irrelevant now and forfeiting 3 times doesn't help that. Hopefully they don't ruin the East's race with forfeits, that's pretty much all there is to say.

    Eastern East

    1.Wilkes Barre Scranton Penguins

As tough as this is to say this, I am giving WBS the slight nod in the Eastern East division as the top team. 2nd tag scandal aside, this is still a very good team that is deep on offense and defense, and can still score with the best of them. Players such as @honesrule and @PvtKilaa have been near the top of the scoring race all year. Their defense will have to play much better throughout the playoffs due to losing their goalie and not having a true starter anymore. @Parsnipes , @PHATxPhalanx and @RABID WOLVERIN3 will need to focus on keeping the pucks out for this team to be successful. WBS has enough talent to do some damage in the playoffs, just not sure they have the goal tending to keep them there for long. Not many people agree with the decision about 2nd tags, and of course losing two of their top players may end up hurting them in the end.

    2.Binghamton Senators

Binghamton is a solid team that has actually gotten better in recent weeks. They will challenge for the 4, 5, or 6 spot going into the playoffs and have a lot on the line in the last week. I am not sure they have enough to take over the division lead, being 8 points back however. @STEELERKID96 has done a great job managing this team all season. They have a great group of forwards and defense men that make it easy on their goalies. They also managed to get 2 of the best random assignments this season has offered in @Bitetto02 and @YargageQC . Binghamton can roll 3 lines and has good enough defense to keep them in games. Look for Binghamton to be a dark horse out of the 4, 5 or 6 seed throughout playoffs.

    3.Lehigh Valley Phantoms

Lehigh Valley is an interesting team that started out the season not playing too great but has really turned it on late in the season to position themselves nicely going into playoffs. Their top line scores in bunches, consisting of @I The Legacy l and @kinklater 10 , and Legacy has a real shot at being points leader by the end of the season. Their top d man, @CRiNGY KiD 24 has 43 points, which is more than a lot of forwards have this season and that is insane. A +50 to go along with it, he has a good chance at winning the AHL version of the Norris this season. They will most likely settle into the 7th seed going into playoffs with a potentially very tough match up in week 1 of the playoffs.

    4. Hershey Bears

Hershey will be missing the playoffs most likely, with too much ground to cover in the final week but it could have been much worse this season. Losing management before bidding ever was completed can ruin a team, but Hershey rebounded very nicely with the guidance of sparkplug87 nic and stelene 7 . Their top line consisting of Thats So Hurt hicksy999 and xTHExENFORCER will knock your socks off with hard hits and timely scoring to keep you off balance. Unfortunately, Hershey’s lack of defensive depth caught up to them and they were unable to overcome that as well as a lack of bidding to be a competitive team. Never the less, way to keep playing guys.

    5. Norfolk Admirals

Another team that lost management during the season, but this one had much worse adverse effects on the team. Norfolk has had a lot of issues fielding 6 players every night, and when they do they get blown out most of the time. Losing management is never fun, and it just creates a lot of disarray. Hopefully they show up for the final week and don’t just give up free wins to teams vying for playoff spots. There really isn’t much to say about this team, being in the basement all season. Only one week left and I’m sure most of the players on Norfolk are happy about that.

    Western North

    Hamilton (52-14-6)
The Bulldogs have a 35 point lead in their division and a 17 point lead in the Western conference. They boast one of the best offences and defences in the league. Offensively they are lead by their GM Elite 6s Player with 93 points on the year. On defence they are lead by M4TTH35and Haunted Avocado who have a combined salary of 13.25M and they haven't disappointed. All season Hamilton has been on top and the will look to finish the season off strong. Players to watch - Elite 6s Player, M4TTH35, and devilsknight617.

    Utica (35-32-5)
The Comets have 75 points on the season which is good enough for 5 in the Western conference but only 1 point ahead of San Antonio. They started the season off going 13-5 in the first 2 weeks but have only managed to have one week where they have won more then 5 games. This last week is very important to this team because only 7points separate 5th to 10th in this conference and they cant afford another sub-par week. Offensively lead by StoneR2210 and Windtroop but Utica is going to need a complete team effort if they hope to come out with a playoff spot at the end of the week. Players to watch - StoneR2210, chalkyknight, and xx SHAKE 703 xx.

    Rochester(33-36-3)
Despite having more losses then wins the Americans are barely holding down the 8th seed with Texas and Charlotte 1 point behind respectively. Rochester has been an up and down team all season, this will have to be one of the weeks where they go up, otherwise Texas or Charlotte will over take them. Offensively they don't have an "Allstar" per-say but its more of a team effort( DaPooda, igetblunted23, and Fathead l15l to name a few). On defence they look only to have two solid defenders(Mabus Incarnate, bruno caboclo) and if they want to keep the 8th seed they're going to need the rest of the defenders to prove me wrong and step up their game. Player to watch - Mabus Incarnate, Fathead l15l,and da jabrony).

    Adirondack (25-43-2)
All that's left for this team is to be eliminated for playoff contention because the only way they will make it is if Rochester and every other team ahead of them loses every game next week. However they can still salvage their pride and win as they can and try and play spoiler. I don't blame any player on this team for where they fall in the standings as they have had numerous GM changes from the start of the season. Players to watch - . x gardiner 51 x, Toa5ty3, and xXSAMCRO420Xx.

    Toronto (18-49-5)

Another team that can only play spoiler because they are eliminated already. The main goal of this team is to try to get guys together for the last 10 games and just have a fun and end the season on a good note. Players to watch - . Blunterone, BadMoonMike, and Jman1188

    Eastern Atlantic

    Portland Pirates (40-30-2)
Of course there are many teams coming into this last week feeling very comfortable knowing that they hold a spot for the playoffs, however, the Portland Pirates are not one of them. They have a great opportunity this week which includes two matchups against Providence, who currently are just 1 point behind them in the division. Goaltender Goalie Cancer has had some good and bad weeks, but he really pulled it together this past week winning 5 straight games in a row. He will need to keep this effort going along with solid defenders Stith00 (GM), ed reflex (AGM), and @Ix MAXWELL xI since the team has some trouble staying out of the penalty box with 594:00 PIMS on the season (most in the league). With one of their top forwards, o Z ii g g 59 (60.3 FO% & 51.9 SH%), being on injured reserve for who knows how long, could possibly present some issues for this last week. Other top forwards like TurcNasTy 71 and Ravaqz will need to carry the load. Good luck this week boys.

    Providence Bruins (37-28-7)
This squad is led by GM Detrma95 and AGM King Kaddie. They are going to need to play their best this week because if the Hartford Wolf Pack keep winning and hang on to the 8[SUP]th[/SUP] playoff spot, then the only possible chance this team has is to come out of their own division in first place. This is definitely possible, and with offensive power such as @I Bolts x 91 I, King8eeKilla, and Some fat gezer, the chances seem a lot better. Let’s just hope they have the depth in their lines to keep the train rolling. On the defensive side, top defenders such as PENROSE l27l, Waitn2Respawn, and POPPIN POPS 420 need to continue their strong defensive play with @GalCH3Nyuk I27I behind them in net, who has only lost 5 games out of the 20 he has played. Everyone keep an eye out Sunday night at 9:30 when this team plays a crucial game against the Portland Pirates. That win would put them 1 point ahead and really give them some confidence moving forward. Best of luck to the Bruins this last week.

    Manchester Monarchs (35-32-5)
The Monarchs, led by GM and solid goaltender Detect Stealth and AGM Sbrangy, may be 3[SUP]rd[/SUP] in their division, but they are only 7 points behind the Pirates. They will need to rally their boys in order to sneak in to a playoff spot here. The Monarchs seem to have no trouble winning face-offs with guys like zl InFiniTy lz and Axxonjaxxon88, but their problem up front seems to be scoring with around 3.04 goals per game which is low compared to other top teams in front of them. Defenders like OioOoOoOoiO and darkwolf will really need to play their best this week if they want a playoff chance. If you check out Stealth’s and Wolf’s videos on Youtube of the team you will see that they all work together and strive for the best. Good luck to you guys in the playoff race this last week.

    St. John’s Ice Caps (28-41-3)
The Ice Caps have just recently been eliminated from the playoffs which can be tough to take in, especially for management. The team was just out of the cut to have a chance for playoffs coming in to this last week. One stat the team did win in was the shorthanded goal category with 30 while El Flan De Man had 8 of those. Unfortunately for this team, a one man show could not prove worthy among other teams. It seems the offensive side was not strong enough to withstand the 4.08 goals given up per game. With a game against Portland and a game against Providence this week, this team could deter their progress toward a playoff spot. It can be tough playing when it seems there is nothing to fight for, but let’s hope GM @Wiffle Tank and AGM @IZI TwIsTeD ISI round their boys up and finish this last week with some good fun hockey. Good season guys and best of luck in the future.

    Worcester Sharks (26-43-3)
The Sharks, led by GM @I1I Xenon I9I and AGM tombramanti, have been recently eliminated from a possible playoff spot. It seems as if a few solid players like Greaski and @I Privatize I showed up to the team a little too late to help them get something going. Xenon, Broken Focus123, and @Hillhouse I13I led the team in points but it looks like no one else really could keep up as the team only averaged 2.90 goals per game. Let’s hope the team finishes out the season because you never know what damage they could potentially do to the standings. Good season guys.

    Western Mid-West

    1. Chicago Wolves (44-23-5 93 PTS)

Chicago continues to be the top dog in this division as they have been for most of the season. AGM and known snake DankTheGod leads Chicago in points and along with GM iCh3ap have provided solid play and led their team by example. l1l Gaborik l2l is having a strong campaign after being acquired via trade before week 5 sporting a 10-2 record since his arrival. Defensively Chicago sports a group of unremarkable but solid and stable Dmen. Starting Goalie ll NATE DOGG ll has turned his season around since arriving in Chicago and is a huge reason for their ability to stay at the top of their division. Looking forward to week 9 Chicago will get a taste of the Eastern Conference and will discover whether they are just a big fish in a little pond or if they can hang with the AHL’s true top teams. They’ll need a big week as the number 2 seed in the conference is up for grabs.

    Projected Week 9 Record: [6-3-1]

    2. Lake Erie Monsters (39-26-7 85 PTS)

Lake Erie finds themselves heading into week 9 with the #4 seed in the west pretty well locked up and within striking distance of first in their division. WIth no obvious standout names this team has gotten where they have by being balanced with two lines who bring a steady and consistent game LORDXENU ISBEST has provided a spark to his line and has played well since getting the nod on the fulltime roster. Though a playoff spot is all but assured I don’t think this team is nearly as talented or deep as the class of their division (Chicago Wolves) and may be a product of playing in a poor division itself within a rather week conference. Their saving gracy may be the remarkable play of their goaltender Pelletier x 77 who has played phenomenally and can keep this team in games they have no business being in. Like Chicago they have a difficult week 9 coming up playing against the Eastern Northeast.

    3. Grand Rapids Griffins (33-33-6 72 PTS)

Despite amediocre record Grand Rapids enters week 9 in a playoff spot in the abysmal west. There is really not alot to say about this team with only a handful of players posting a +/- on the right side of 0, combedarmadillo has been a somewhat bright spot for this team. They will have to truly battle to hang on to their playoff spot, if they do manage to get in however (assuming they are able to dodge a 1 vs 8 matchup against conference favorite Hamilton) anything is possible. Like the other teams in this division week 9 puts them up against the buzzsaw that is the Eastern Northeast division where in my opinion they will be lucky to win a single game. Their two games vs. Rockford next week will be close to must wins.

    4. Rockford IceHogs (27-38-6 60 PTS)

Rockford much like GRG found themselves within striking range of the postseason despite a subpar season however after a dismal end to week 9 they may have lost their chance to play in the postseason. They however have much more of an uphill climb to get there FinishingTiger will need to play out of his mind to carry his line and team into the postseason. I don’t think this team is quite as bad as their record indicates and during the right week could be seen as the 3rd best team in their division. Week 9 will be a tough time for them to make up the Pts they will need to get to the postseason. Winning their two games vs. divisional opponent Grand Rapids is 100% necessary along with some other lucky breaks if they plan on expanding their season, even if they do make it they do not stand a chance of beating either Iowa or Hamilton.

    5. Milwaukee Admirals (22-43-7 47 PTS)

Milwaukee has had a rough go of it since the jump led by l39lManthal39l & Winston Payne as GM & AGM respectively this team has seen all sorts of struggles and will look to play a bit of spoiler and end their season with dignity intact. Ranking at the bottom of the league in nearly every discernible team statistic including a whopping -310 Shot Differential and -167 Minutes for Time of Attack differential there is not much to say about this team. Both GM’s have come off as respectful and have handled themselves well despite their team's struggles. Here’s hoping they finish the season strong and leave this season with their heads held high.

"@PahkTheCah1387 did a great job building an all around team that can hang with the best of them."

All credit should be directed to ele905 he's a better AGM than I deserve and has done so much to put Bridgeport in the position we are in.

Great write up boys. Love reading about the league. time for Bridgeport to move up the rankings and make some noise in the playoffs.

Pahk and ele both have done a great job. Truly one of the funniest seasons I've been a part of in LG.
@DankTheGod you should work on Beating us, before you call anyone on Bridgeport a joke.

edit: double post for the win! PahkTheCah1387 ele905
