Captain Interview:

Why did you choose Man United? The only team I have ever supported.

What was your strategy for the draft? 3 Factors: Formation, Ability and Chemistry. I picked players that I knew could play in all 3 of the formations I'm thinking of using. They had to be specialists in those positions so their ability on and off the ball was a major factor. With potentially only an hour of warmups on matchday, chemistry would be difficult to build, so I picked players that I know have either played together in LG or in late night sessions regularly. Once the 3 factors were set, it came down to deciding the order I would pick the players. Moodi was my first choice no matter what, and I had a feeling most teams would be going for a Striker or Centre back first. Once I got D-Saboteur with my second pick, every one else fell into place. Every single player in the first team were my first choices for the formations I'm playing. I did have a few backup options written down but luckily it all worked out, so I'm very happy with the outcome of the draft.

Who do you think will make the biggest impact on your team? Anyone who knows Leverkusen's style of play knows we don't rely on one person. Goals and assists can come from anywhere. Every one of my players will be a threat.

Which team do you think will be the toughest opponent? Most likely Real Madrid, they are the only team who I think are approaching this as competitively as us.

Trash Talk I honestly don't see the need for dishing out trash talk or reading what the other managers have to say. Lions don't lose sleep over the opinions of sheep.
