I played it and wasn't really impressed, but I don't really like NCAA football so maybe that is why.

It does seem more fluid and the framerate is improved but did the graphics take a hit?

I used Michigan and the crowd didn't seem to be very interesting.

I will be downloading when I get home from work in about 90 minutes. Looking forward to playing this game. I have vowed to NEVER buy Madden again so I have to get by on NCAA or the real football, 2k series, LOL!

It's not too bad, the framerate increase definitely helps, although for some reason the game doesn't feel quite as responsive as last year's (although I haven't played it in months so my judgment is probably way off). Can't wait to get a dynasty going though.

Whats up express? I agree, the game is pretty but doesnt seem to handle as good as 06 or 07. I also havent played for a few months, so who knows. Nevertheless, I love NCAA football and will be picking this up definitely.

I haven't been a dedicated player to NCAA, but I gotta say I love the tackling. It did seem easy to score and blitz, but I'm assuming this demo is on the lowest level.

Yeah its on varsity, fall cry from the All-American and Madden difficulties we usually play football on around here. IMO, the blocking for staying in the pocket is a lot better. You can get punished for running outside all the time. I took 3-5 step drops and was able to hang in the pocket realistically, not like years past where the thing collapsed like a drunken sorority girl. Guess this will have to do for the next six days.

    Yes, I agree with this!

I only got to play it one time last night. It is familar, yet different and fun. I'm looking forward to the real game. Also, I like the fact that the demo was 2 minute quarters this time around. You can actually get a grasp of the game before it ends.

I played the demo a few times and I'm not sure if I am all that impressed. The animations and everything look great, you really do notice the 60 fps. I think though to make it run at 60 fps they toned down the graphics. To me everything looked really bland. I hope this is only because it is a demo though. Did anyone else notice this same thing?

Well I was not a fan of the crowd or the field itself. No crowd has every section jumping up and down constantly, its just not realistic. I thought they were upgrading the grass this year, because it looks like they are playing on air in the replays. I do like the gameplay however, thats what matters the most to me, that and dynasty mode of course.

No joke I put up 35 points the first time I played. It's gotta be on freshman or sophomore difficulty. The player animations are much smoother and I enjoyed the hits. Staying in the pocket is worth while in the demo. The first time I tried to roll out, a linebacker in zone coverage came streaking in at 100mph and lit USC's Booty up....Needless to say Booty was 11/11 265 yds. The Next game I rolled w/ michgan and Hart ran 6 times for 130, his backup had around 50 yards. Michgan's D seemed pretty weak in the demo (USC actually scored on me). I think the stadiums and fans will be polished up in the final version. They probably had a separate and smaller team working on the demo.

Hey guys, check out Fkrosters.comA guy on there has the game and is fielding questions, I saw stuff about the difficulty and graphics on there, as he compares the demo to the retail version. I can't wait for next week.
