Official LG tournament: 6s Ladder with Buy-In

8 is a good number. Can't really expect games to be held on weekends with only a roster size of 8 but if there weren't plans to be games on the weekends then it is a perfect number.

 

There is no schedule until playoffs!

 

What I heard ( unless something has changed ) is you can play at your leisure, and we all play everyday, so I don't think its a good idea to allow more than 8 or 9 on a team.

We arent doing the tournament with a traditional schedule because those NEVER work. People only want to play scheduled internet hockey through leagues like the LGHL (Most, only in this specific league). When you play club its on your own time. You'd in theory be able to put up a game for whatever time, and someone would accept it, and only at that point would it be officially scheduled. We feel smaller rosters make sense in this regard because anytime you have 6/8 on you can play. Expanding to 9 might be something that we look into if enough people feel that it is in the best interest of the tournament.

I'll play. I'm less than mediocre at the buttons, have a higher shooting percentage against my own goalie and like to spin in circle's until somebody hits me and I turn over the puck but I'm pretty confident whatever team I'm on will win.

In all seriousness though, the cost is cheap to buy in. Even if it is set at $20/person, that really isn't much at all considering the cost of entertainment these days. I pay more than that for a movie with the woman, even without covering her costs, for 2 hours of entertainment. It's a good way to rejuvenate EASHL and hopefully open up EA's eyes to different directions they can take EASHL and hopefully pay more attention to it in the future rather than adding shit like the ever so popular NHL 94 mode or prompt interviews for Live the life. I could care less about entering, getting pounded by some established teams and losing my entry fee, I just like the direction the 6's community is trying to take this and fully support it. The game is so much better when the community does EA's job for them.

 

So who wants to let me roster ride?

 

Personnally I think it shall be 8 players/Team ONLY. So the costs stay the same for every team/players.

Theres going to be a flat rate for every team, so if we decide 10 dollars per person it'll really be 80 per team and if you only want 6 players you'll need to pay more per person.

Still wondering why Collateral Damage hasn't been added. Maybe I can get a word in with you Vaporiz. I just find it crazy, that a team who is willing to pay to get in the VNI has not been added. Thanks.
