Post Bidding Power Rankings (Eastern Conference)

EDIT: I came back to go into more detail as its only fair. Plus @Savage Ns wrote a bad ass one for the Western Conference so it was the only fair thing to do. Yes, the community spoke out and called me out on my mistake. This time around I did my homework, and yes Bridgeport got the credit they deserve.

I figured I would make one of these since no one else has. I am only doing the Eastern Conference since my team is in the Western Conference, and I don't feel like doing the full AHL. So, here is MY UNBIASED OPINION of the Eastern Conference post bidding.

I am keeping this simple, each category will get placed into Above Average, Average, and Below Average. There will be 4 teams in the above average tier, 6 teams in the average tier, and 5 teams in the below average tier per category. I will also predict if they are making the playoffs or not and at the end, rank the top 8 playoff teams.

Alphabetical Order:

Albany Devils:
Offense: Average
Defense: Average
Goaltending: Above Average
Make Playoffs: Yes

Summary: As I said, this teams goalies is what is going to be the difference between making the playoffs or missing the playoffs. @Zero Choice & @xNHL DANGLES07x are both great goalies, and if this team can put up goals, they will make the playoffs. They have their big contract forward in @l Nylander l and have some veteran depth with @EricE30 and @THEE UNCLE BuCK to help lead this teams offense. Defense to me still a question mark

Binghamton Senators:
Offense: Average
Defense: Below Average
Goaltending: Below Average
Make Playoffs: No

Summary: They have a lot of good players on this team, and they are honestly a bubble team in my opinion. Right now I have them on the outside looking in. @A Salty Sail0r is a great defenseman, but past him I don't see much depth. As for forwards, they looked a little deeper yesterday. some questionable trades in my opinion, none the less @lMacArthur l16l and @Crazy Legz314 will be leading the offense the way. The main issue I see here is lack of defense and only one solid veteran goalie in @Gally x l27l

Bridgeport Sound Tigers:
Offense: Above Average
Defense: Average
Goaltending: Below Average
Make Playoffs: Yes

Summary: This is the team I clearly messed up on, and the community let me know about it and fast!! Whoops! This team is clearly deeper than I first looked, they failed my spot test due to my ignorance of the player names. Clearly, they've got some good forwards in @Tcx7 @Kirito x58 and company, defense is lead by @Le Saint Qc and @ll Motown ll, but to me goaltending is still a bit of a concern. Two 500k goalies between the pipes, one of which who I've seen play goalie before but I don't think hes ever played a full LG season at the position in @SportsFanatic73

Hartford Wolfpack:
Offense: Above Average
Defense: Average
Goaltending: Average
Make Playoffs: Yes

Summary: Any team @Cronkzy97 is managing is always a threat. I still have them as the team to beat in the East due to how deep this team is on offense. Players like @arnooney and @lx MAXWELL xl will help carry the offense, with two of my ex teammates in @xNazzy19x & @FinishingTiger to also help out. @Smitterr and @ooDROPPoo are two good defenseman that will hold down the blue line, and @ByMercyAndGrace is a really good goalie (he might have the ugliest pads ever though)

Hershey Bears:
Offense: Below Average
Defense: Average
Goaltending: Average
Make Playoffs: No

Summary: too many oNo's lol but in all honesty, this is going to be a tough team to score against. They have decent goaltending and good defense, but I think lack of offense is what will prevent this team from making the playoffs. @lSneaky x84l and @oNo Frenchy and his oNo crew will try to hold it down on offense. Don't get me wrong, they are good players but we've seen the oNo experiment before in past seasons, hopefully it works out for you guys this season. I see you guys as a bubble team, and with my new rankings I have you as the #9 seed so I know you guys will be fighting hard all season

Lehigh Valley Phantoms:
Offense: Above Average
Defense: Average
Goaltending: Above Average
Make Playoffs: Yes

Summary: They look to have the deepest team in the league. They have some good forwards, solid defense, and two under the radar goalies who I think could help this team make a push in the playoffs. @Riemersmaa and @Martin McFlyyy are the main forwards to watch our for, but believe me they are much deeper than these two at forward. @HabAtIt98 and @darkwolf are two veteran d men that bring a lot of experience to the table to help out, and in my opinion two great goalies with great contracts @Wizard0f Osgood & @Bbrown2580

Portland Pirates:
Offense: Average
Defense: Below Average
Goaltending: Below Average
Make Playoffs: No

Summary: Scoring goals will not be an issue with @Savage Ns @l1l Gabella l9l & @xKillhouse leading the offense with @McCann x94. @Viva La Rangers is a good goalie, but without a solid back up its going to be a tough season. You have some veterans on defense in @Westerhof x88x & @Murph ballzzz. If this team gets another goalie and a few good dmen, they become a playoff team in my opinion.

Providence Bruins:
Offense: Average
Defense: Below Average
Goaltending: Above Average
Make Playoffs: No

Summary: Good goaltending in @BAGGSIE3713 & @Z3R0CR45H but the defense is a scare to me. You have a good defenseman in @Moreault x 19 and @ol St Michel lo but the rest of the dmen are questionable. The offense has some names out there with @CPT ERBZ420 and @Gimme a Brewski and @Stoner x 95 but I think this team will need to make some moves if they want to make a push for the playoffs

Rochester Americans:
Offense: Above Average
Defense: Below Average
Goaltending: Above Average
Make Playoffs: Yes

Summary: A lot of the top CHL players combined on the same team, I think they will turn some heads. Their defense is weak, but based off stats, the offense should be able to give them goal support. with the top line of North Bay moving up to the AHL (@l1l Sharp l0l @McPluggles @Ragu l97l ) plus the additions of @PaulyChunks and @Martin ScoresEZ, this offense is lethal. Not to mention I think they have a pretty good goalie duo in @dityboycom & @TheFranchize026

Springfield Falcons:
Offense: Average
Defense: Above Average
Goaltending: Average
Make Playoffs: Yes

Summary: You have 2 gms from last season who each took their team to the playoffs, and now they are on the same team. Springfield will be a solid team, good offense, and better defense. Led by @xx BAKE 703 xx and @Schizostone, this team will have every game close. The defense is what stands out to me. @WEOOOOOOOOOOOO @Hamburglar Time @Powdah P will hold it down back there.

St. Johns Ice Caps:
Offense: Above Average
Defense: Above Average
Goaltending: Average
Make Playoffs: Yes

Summary: really good offense led by @hotwinglol @Steeler l96l & @x Ennis l63l x this team will be able to put up goals. Great defenseman too in @Oh Grumpy @BearSkorn and @l2l Julian l1l it will be tough to cycle the puck on this team. It is a bit of a scare to have two 500k goalies between the pipes but you have to get past the defense to get to the goalie

Syracuse Crunch:
Offense: Below Average
Defense: Average
Goaltending: Below Average
Make Playoffs: No

Summary: The 500k warriors. This team has a lot of CHL players moving up to the AHL, so to me its a huge question mark as to how they do up here. They spent a lot of their cap on defense in @Doubleb7 @x 9 smyth 4 x and @NotYou197730 so I feel like they will be the ones to watch this season. This is a tough write up to do just because I really don't know many of these players, so lets see how the 500k army does this season.

Toronto Marlies:
Offense: Average
Defense: Average
Goaltending: Average
Make Playoffs: Yes

Summary: Like Rochester, they have a lot of CHL players making their way up. @L e G e N D x94 and @iAm Timbo Slice seem to have put together a pretty solid squad. I will say that I think you over priced a few of the people on your roster, thats not to say they arent good players though. @lxKarlsson65xl had a great season last year, so lets see if he can continue that this year in the AHL.

Utica Comets:
Offense: Below Average
Defense: Below Average
Goaltending: Below Average
Make Playoffs: No

Summary: This team is to me will be a questionmark. I underestimated them originally, and that was unfair. They have some good forwards in @Glitch Goaling and @Maldini ll 3 ll to help lead the way. On defense, they got one of the better defenseman in @DAV1S0N and he is a impact when on the ice. Hes one of the best offensive dmen i've had the opportunity to play with. @Big E DeLong is a veteran so he will help teach some of the newer guys on this team about team defense. @x Golden Aces x is a decent goalie so he should help keep the puck out of the net for you guys. But in all honesty, this is a tough eastern division so its going to be a bit of a struggle for you guys unless you can bolster your blue line and get a back up goaler

Wilkes Barry Scranton Penguins:
Offense: Above Average
Defense: Above Average
Goaltending: Average
Make Playoffs: Yes

Summary: The core of this team has been playing for a long time together, so they will be one of the power house teams coming out of the East. They have the skill players, but more importantly the chemistry to win in this league. @Gumba l11l @Ambient I37I and @DMP x l13l are all some of the best two way players I've seen in this game. They always build a power house team with @Colonel20 so I don't expect anything less from these guys this season.

To be honest, Idk any of your team really so I based it off stats from last season. Go prove me wrong

 

Bridgeport is solid, definitely a top 3 Team in the East. Hartford, Bridgeport, St John's and WBS will finish top 4 in East and probably the whole AHL.

 

Easily the top 4 teams in the league.

 

Stockton will probably finish 1st in the West, but sorry to say but the East is by far the harder Conference lol not even fucking close. You would finish 5th in the East

 

Of course, the east was just too stacked for us to of had a chance last year.
