The Hottest team in the league stayed hot as they took down Utica in convincing fashion, The Offense for the penguins was potent only really being shut down in the first game, 4 goals in 4 games of the last 5 games 3 goals in a OT loss. It was Either close for the Penguins or they outright destroyed their opponents. A Team that looked like a contender out of the gate is now golfing after only 1 round.

Bridgeport simply shutdown the griffins, 2 Goals on average for Grand Rapid just wasn't even close enough to compete, 10 Goals in 5 games 3 of those in a 9 - 3 blowout, we all know how defensemen start jumping up in the play causing some weak goals. The Griffins were unfortunate to run into a team built like bridgeport.

It's Condover, My meme predictions in the shoutbox actually came true, 12 Goals in 7 games just isn't gonna cut it, I don't care how well your defense plays you don't score you don't win. The Firebirds entered this series in playoff mode while the condors didn't a just to playoff hockey quick enough, Still the condors had there shot at winning series but it came all crashing down when Hardie finished them off in overtime completing a hat trick.

It looked very dire for the admirals when League MVP (IMO) Duuuval was banned for xbox shenanigans however he did get it appealed yet it didn't even matter, While he won his game the other lines didn't do anything, One Double Overtime loss and the team was just clocked out. Maybe next time don't blow up the team at the deadline for no reason.

When it reigns it pours, The Reign extinguished the Heat er the Wranglers (seriously Wranglers? what the fuck were they thinking naming this team) 7 goals in 5 games, you literally had to get a shutout to win. The reign ended up being the only higher seed to win their matchup in the west and they did it convincely.

A matchup like this reminds us that there has to be winners and there also has to be losers. Too good teams trading blows but in the end someone had to win, Congratulations Texas the Barracuda dynasty has been stopped (at least you can still go for 3 out of 5 like Chicago did). Nothing the Barracuda could have done they lost a hard fought battle by the skin of their teeth.



PREDICTIONS

Both these teams have atleast one guy one them that hates my guts so..... I pick the Penguins, They are the hottest in the league, all of there lines have been clicking while Hartford's management line has been kinda suspect. I believe pens have to win this in 6 if they have to play Hartford's game 7 line it's over for them.

I think bridgeport wins, Bridgeport is one of them most complete teams in the league, and despite having to resort to ecus several times in our series against we kept in surprisingly close.

To make the right prediction here i have to correctly analyze one thing, Are the Firebirds actually that good or did the Condors just straight up choke, The Reign dominated in there last series, and i was right about the condors choking so I'm gonna go with the reign but i think the firebirds will put up a strong fight.

Rockford got an easy matchup against a blown up admirals team, They didn't beat Duuval's line, Texas will be more then ready for them after coming out alive in a no holds bar slugfest against the former champs in the barracuda
