No he didn't go to staff because once our gm was made aware that spinner was making trades solo we put the stop to it.

 

A few things:

1. The fact an AGM can make trades without GM or owner approval is quite frankly mind boggling and this is what happens because of it.

2. Timespinner posted a message admitting he compromised the trade, if it doesn't get reversed then I'm sorry but the league looks lackluster. To say the trade is fair is beyond belief.

I don't agree with bashing the league and I'm not calling anyone out, I'm just saying these are the facts and changing the rules for next year doesn't help what is going on now. The facts are here, the proof is here it is up to the LG staff to decide the coarse of action which is clear cut in my mind.

 

If he didn't go to staff before saying the trade was compromised what do you want the league to do? Screw over one team after they can't make anymore trades by making then give up more players or get back players that might be salty they were traded or didn't get along with management and that why they were traded to begin with? Please look at this from all standpoints.

Also, I can guarantee that it would be annoying to everyone if everyone had to send a pm each for every trade they made. Asking for that would just open the door for complaints later. It's bad this happened yeah but asking the league to screw over one team because someone clearly picked a bad AGM is just stupid. The old league had it the same way, any of the 2 GMs or higher level management in the same organization can agree to a trade and it only had to be one person agreeing from each organization. Never caused an issue there, now one bad AGM that was let off his leash is causing a huge uproar.

The only way I can see this ending with a reversal is if both teams and their owners agree to it and talk to Topher in a party together. Other then that what's done is done, screwing up one team because another teams AGM went AWOL isn't exactly fair either.

 

Yeah the GM went and messaged the league and said what happened and he wanted it over turned and even explained exactly what happened THAT DAY (Monday or tuesday)
2. I know for a fact the Owner had no idea, and the GM had no idea, the AGM was having a little fit and wanted to blow up the team
3. There already is a rule. Maybe the jack asses who run the league should read their own fucking book

Yup, I cant believe they let me do ownership. Gotta cut ties with the old owners, they were the issue. Not the new owners like Hanson, Ehsian, etc. its definitely the old ones.

Because I have not had one management/owner duo come to me, as I had asked.

All due respect guys, I have a lot on my plate in my personal life and don't have time to run down people.

This is indeed not the old league, rule 11.2 clearly states AGM, GM, and owner must ALL agree on it.

Good luck talking to Topher, this post has over 1,500 views and not a single BoG has weighed in on the situation, even after my old AGM admitted it was indeed compromised.

 

According to Rule 11.2 they can't. But this league decides to cherry pick certain rules for certain situations I guess. 1,600 views, multiple PMs ands still no answer as to how this happens.

 

BoGs don't need to weigh in in a public thread, matter of fact this should've all been dealt with in private.

Now, if you said something about it being compromised BEFORE the trade went through, you'd have something to go on here. The fact you guys dealt with it in-house (and I get that you told a BoG you didn't want to make those trades but rules state once a trade is in, it's in do they not?) and didn't go to staff saying it was compromised to you that you were traded.

Now, it doesn't say ANYWHERE that it has to really be confirmed by everyone, it says by all parties (and I do believe in this situation all parties refers to at least one person from each organization must agree to it, not everyone from the organization as that would be absurd to control as you have translated it) so really nobody "cherry picked" a rule here you just translated it incorrectly as I see it, which is understandable seeing as how it can be translated a couple different ways.

This boils down too:

• Team picked a horrible AGM clearly.
• AGM went haywire and started flying solo like he was Jason Derulo.
• You DID NOT go to a BoG or Staff as far as I know and you have stated saying it was compromised, you guys dealt with it in house (horrible idea IMO.)
• You're now salty and basically asking the league to overturn this trade and trying to bend the rules to your own necessity and the way you translated it makes it seem so.
• You're also making your team that you got traded to feel shitty, and if this trade is overturned they can no longer make any more trades and will get back players they clearly didn't want for some reason (no offense to those players) or players that didn't like management or had some kind of problem with them, screwing them over because of one shitty AGM.

This witch-hunt can officially end. Clearly though, someone needs to go through the rule book and darken up some of these grey areas.

 

You guys probably should have picked an AGM who doesn't do stupid shit. Don't blame the league for your GM or Owner's poor choice in selecting an AGM.

Confirmed by all parties (AGM,GM, Owner) seems pretty clear that they must all agree. And nothing but love for WBS, they are a great group of guys and are arguably a better team than my old team. Just want an official ruling. I'm completely fine playing for either team and understand if they cannot overturn the trade. Just wish stuff like this didn't happen so frequently.
