if these are accurate then i think ea made some of these rankings based on hype alone. where is chris leak? brock berlin?

getting paid to play and being in a players association has it's benefits.

but because there is no organization controlling the college players and they are not getting paid then ea cannot use their names for free.

they would have to pay for using the name and likeness...this way numbers avoid that hassle.

and the downloads work great...for those with action replay..or a chip ;)

If I were a college athlete I would want my name in the game and would be willing to not get paid for it. How cool would it be to see yourself on there... of course like you said you can always download junk or manually add the name urself. 8)

    Unfortunately

I think if I was an athlete i would too.. what in the world would it hurt ....

There must be some big law that if you use somebodies name that they are entitled to some income.. or royalties..

But I mean, sign them to an agreement...

i don't think the big 10 is an easy conference..they have 3 or 4 teams consistently in the top 25.

that's pretty good from one division.

    thanks :p

i'm not really a fan of them, i'm a michigan fan but hey it's just a game and i was just happy to get in.

OK, that list is BS, Andrew Walter sucks...he didn't do anything last year and they have him the same as someone who actually did something against the USC defence. Hopefully they rank Cal's receiving core as good as they ranked Rodgers, than I will be set.

Maybe Toledo won't be that bad of a team at all, with Gradkowski being eight on the quarterback list and having a top ten reciever in Moore. Maybe I will have a slight, slight chance.

Go ahead and miss Navarre he wasn't worth it anyway, but Perry's replacement is supposedly better. I can't remember his name right now.

Navarre wasn't great but he wasn't that bad either, he got the job done. I've heard the same thing about their new RB but I don't see him on any lists so I'm a little worried. The guy had some awesome runs last season ugh what the hell is his name...
