Please Vote! Week 4 "All-Stars" ft. Anti-Award Updates

This isn't your typical "All-Star" line-up as there will be current Anti-Award leaders sprinkled around the line-up, instead of strictly the "best" statistical players for all three lines.

First Line:

Left Wing: @l Freddy ll
1-9-2, (8-6-14 points), -11

*Freddy is the current leader of the "UseLes Cunningham Award" which is awarded to the leagues least valuable player. Freddy is the only player in the AHL with a minimum of 10 games played to only have one measly win on the season.


Center: @Johns l20l
2-9, (5-12-17 points), -13

*Johns is the current leader of the "Jack A. Butterfingers Trophy" which is awarded to the least valuable player on the worst team in the league. Fittingly Johns is a first line center for the first time since NHL 09.


Right Wing: @eFlNK
2-9-1, (9-10-19 points), -27 and 62 GA*

*eSTINK is currently collecting Anti-Award leads at a historic rate as he's currently leading or tied for three different awards. He is currently tied with @Txske for the "Bob Stewart Award" which is awarded to the player with the worst +/- in the league. He's also currently leading the "Nail Yakupov Award a.k.a. Anti-Datsyuk Award" which is awarded to the forward who least excels in the defensive aspects of the game. Last, but certainly not least, he's also leading "The 'Dud' Red Garrett Memorial Award" which is awarded to the least outstanding AHL rookie.


Left Defense: @RyanSterls
2-8-2, (1-9-10 points), -22

*Congrats on being the only first liner who isn't currently leading any Anti-Award races.

Right Defense: @Lil SkiBall4926
2-10, (3-6-9 points), -22

*Despite winning his first two games of the season this week, SkiBall is still the current leader of the "Eddie I'm Not 'Shore' You're A Dman Award" which is awarded to the AHL's worst defenseman. SkiBall owns the worst +/- for all AHL dman and is the only AHL dman with double digit regulation losses on the season.

Goalie: @beernuts83
5-5-4, .697 SV% and 3.35 GAA

*Beernuts is the current leader of the "Aldedge 'Bad' Bastien Memorial Award" which is awarded to the leagues worst goalie. Beernuts possesses the leagues worst save percentage.

Second Line

Left Wing: @Joe K l47l
2-10, (6-9-15 points), -22 and 34 Rank*

*Joe is the current leader of "The LG Hates You Award” which is awarded to the player with the lowest overall ranking given to them by LG… Looking at Joe’s stat-line, it’s not difficult to see why LG Hates him.

Center: @Cannarozzo
2-7-3, (2*-14-16 points), -12

*Cannarozzo is technically in a three-way tie with @YoungBuffalo88 and @I OHBEE I for the "Anti-Rocket" with a measly two goals scored on the season. I'm giving Cannarozzo the slight edge here due to Buffalo having one fewer game played and Ohbee clearly being backpacked to a 7-3-2 record.

Right Wing: @VintageTrav
2-8-2, (12-6-18 points), -13

*Trav has been taking up residency as an "All-Star" so far this season. Reaching this prestigious status for the third time already this season.

Left Defense: @SLATEROCK21
2-8-2, (0-5-5 points), -16

*Unsurprisingly, Slaterock has cleared AHL waivers, so he'll likely avoid future All-Star nods.

Right Defense: @mashle93
9-3, (1-10-11 points), -5 and 158 GA*

*I needed to give a mention to "The Give it Away Award" which is awarded to the player with the most giveaways on the season. All the all-star forward spots were taken, so I figured I'd mention the actual league leader @iDoubleOhSeven with 182 GA, while also mentioning Mashle who has a massive lead over all other AHL dmen.


Goalie: @JAAMx93x
5-6-1, .707 SV% and 4.17 GAA

*Jaam has the second highest GAA in the AHL, and would currently be considered the runner-up for the "Aldedge 'Bad' Bastien Memorial Award."

Third Line:

Left Wing: @RJYorke
9-3, (7-3-10* points), -5

*RJ is the current leader of the "John B. SoLLenberger Trophy" which is awarded to the forward with the fewest amount of points on the season. This has to be the most bizarre stat-line that I've ever seen.


Center: @SHAGBOHEM
3-9, (6-9-15 points), -17

*I still don't know what a shagbohem is, but I do know he's been an All-Star in back to back weeks. Congrats!

Right Wing: @MacknChel29
4-6, (5-7-12 points), -12 and 17 GF*

*Mack is the current leader of "The Black Hole Award" which is awarded to the skater who's been on the ice for the fewest goals scored for his team during the regular season.

Left Defense: @Sylvi Kid 5
8-3-1, (2-8-10 points), +20, 0 hits*

*Sylvi is our current "Charmin Soft Award" leader which is awarded to the player with the fewest hits on the season. Zero hits in 12 games so far this season is pathetic.

Goalie: @Monzqvist
6-13-2, .742 SV%, 3.88 GAA and 80 GA*

*Monzqvist is the current leader of the “Harry ‘Unhappy’ Holmes Memorial Award” which is Awarded to the goalie who allowed the most goals during the regular season. It goes without saying that this is all @Broomball16 fault.
