Since the NHL has one that is generating discussion, I figured I would start one that focused on the AHL of the VHL.

My pick for the Calder would have been Manchester.

5-0 vs lines featuring voracek or kennydubz. Our first line mercy ruled pretty much everyone we played against. We probably would've lost a long series bc our bottom lines sucked balls.

Nah we only played in the first one, and that was our only loss of the season. Our goalie played like shit and all the bounces went your way. There's no question that Bridgeport's top line was the best line in the AHL that season.

The rest of the team was extremely inconsistent, but I think they would have been able to do enough for a run at the Calder.

 

Monarchs were #1 overall and we were the best team by a margin. #2 was Rockford, #3 WBS. /end thread.

Bahahahaa good one poutine...... WBS, Albany, Hartford and Bridgeport all had a great shot, Manchester obviously looked really good but didnt have a division that had any talent, alteast from what i knew, our division was going to play manchester that week it shut down. But honestly VHL........

 

The Fighting Lan Morandos were pretty good too, I mean, they had Noobinator! And if I remember correctly they had zero active goalies on their roster.

 

Pretty sure the Erie otters wi uld have won the cup in the chl. We were on a 13 game winning streak and my entire line was averaging over four points a game and the three of us were top 7. Manchester was top in the ahl and the kings were food to. It would have been a Los Angeles Kings organizational sweep
