Cheese is only good on a pizza... I have played people that just use risk drop shots for ever shot and they cant do anything else like RADGE MAN and ACE BUSTER... And I have played people that use good game play and cheese... And that is ok as long as you dont cheese all the time...
hey reign, when i played you and did normal serves you were assraping me , so i tried a no power + volley and it worked well. I did what i needed to win. Granted, it was a while ago but still. Youre the only person i needed to use it against repeatedly who couldnt handle it. Next time we play well see if i can do without it (constantly :>)
Then why in our match did you use it quite a few times? I actually think it puts the server at a huge disadvantage because you can see where he is leaning and hit it the oppisite direction. Just take a step or two back on your return and either hit a flat shot (A-button) down the line or top spin into the cross court.
I played a guy last night trying the slow serve to he outside like that and I don't think even one a point during that serve. It was coming in so slow I had all the time I needed to know how to hit it past him or at least have him off balance to slam it cross court on his return.
That's cool Roger. You were just the first guy that I had played that did it pretty much every shot. I have figured out how to beat it now so it doesn't really matter.
Accidentally hit submit post at bottom of last page...that Chang comment was about the underhand serve never working in tennis.
again, i dont think anybody is a cheeser...i hate ppl who do the same thing over and over again that i cant beat, but hey, they figured something out that i cant counter jsut yet..but there is always a counter for everything, you juyst have to figure it out....calling ppl cheesers in games just shows you cant handle them....UNLESS of course u all play with the intent and purpose to 100% simulate reality.
spoon serve I saw in an earlier post that someone said "his wife...serves with a spoon serve...it's obviously not used in professional tennis". I agree that it's not something very common, but I play Division 1 tennis and I have a teammate who uses that serve pretty regularly. And it's not like he's just some average player. He's in the top 10 in Poland and is one of the most incredible players I've ever seen. Just saying that it's not completely unrealistic.
