well the mets are now close to signing Karim Garcia, the obvious replacement for the failed attempt at getting Vlad... that's a huge signing, because we only had 5 below-average outfielders - we definitely needed a 6th...

what does me knowing a former atl brave have to do with the mets sucking? not mention i wasnt even fully aware of what baseball was while he was in his prime....thats not a real fair question.... i was 8 when he retired and that yr (93) he didnt even play but like 20 or so games....
Hate to brake it to you Atlanta fans but they will fininsh the same as they have for the past 13 years...BEHIND whoever wins the National league or the American League(usually the Yanks). Atlanta is like the Buffallo Bills of baseball. I dont know that Atlanta fans have that much to brag about.
