AHL Gametimes switch

    I have been a member of this site for year, I never make an issue of things and support the site.

    This is absolutely ridiculous that Gametimes were switched AFTER we commit and sign off on the participation policy.

    BEFORE THIS SEASON I reviewed all of the mass messages and alerts, I downloaded the Rulebook on 2/14 specifically to check the gametimes

    I personally buy platinum just to support the site. YOU CHARGE MONEY for someone who quits. Yet you change something so simple as Gametimes AFTER THE COMMITMENT HAS BEEN MADE


    I TOOK THE TIME TO REVIEW ALL OF THIS INFORMATION BEFORE CLICKING YES TO ALL OF THE PARTICIPATION POLICY AND CHOOSING PLAYSTATION

    Id be very frustrated if I was in this scenario. I dont care if they mentioned this to the managers or not, if it is not in the rule book upon signup, how can you punish people for wanting to back out of the league (But this totally would be a $50 and a ban).

    Keep up the good work buddy. I never saw anywhere that the game times were changing. The response from LG in your last post that "Times will remain as posted for this season and we can review it next season to see if we want to flip the Xbox and PSN times." is a pretty big slap in the face to those of us who signed up without knowing the times would change. Cant say im surprised though.

    The pictures are what it was supposed to be. They changed it to 910/950/1030 for those who don't know.

    1030 works for me or else I'd be Sunday's only.. was frustrating trying to find out if they made the switch or not though. Heard about it for weeks but never got a for sure answer.

    Times last season were 830-910-950.

    they are currently 910-950-1030

    the difference is a single game time.

    if you can’t play the 10:30
    That’s fine, you should still be able to met the minimum requirements.

    It’s a single time change. 830 is not 1030.

    That’s three games out of nine a week different.

    If that is so drastic that you can’t play now by all means step away from the league.

    Then if the times change file an appeal on your ban and I’ll gladly grant it.

    I don’t think the game time changes are as drastic as some have posted here. The managers last season knew and were aware of the coming change. I don’t have a single DM about anyone with a major concern about the times besides these forum posts.

    again, it’s a single time slot movement. If 10:30 doesn’t work for you personally, step away. Then file an appeal when you can return.

    I didn’t once say I wasn’t understanding how the change May great an issue for some who cannot play now. We have an appeal system for this very reason

    As a former manager I am a bit confused.

    first off you are aware a ban would expire right? Therefore there is never a need to pay the $50 dollar fine associated with a ban.

    secondly where did I say I wouldn’t be understanding of someone who didn’t know these changes were coming and wanted to quit? If anything I’ve stated the opposite and it’s why the site has an appeal system built in.

    It is called a ban buyout for a reason... it also our players to buyout their ban and return early from that ban. But it doesn’t mean HAS to be bought out. It’s simply an option.

    it is also an option I’ve been extremely vocal on that should be removed and never should be part of the process. I’d be fine with a ban reduction buyout. A system where players have to server a min time on a ban, then a fine can be payed to reduce the overall ban length by a season.

    Hopefully that clears up some of the confusion

    I see now, yeah it’s not that big of a deal kind of sucks 10:30 though I thought last year was perfect imo
