I haven't seen any, but I'd bet the farm on it being live enabled.

who wants a farm :D. I don't think they would go through all that again and not allow it, would just cause a bunch of lost money for em.

I'd be very interested in a baseball league here. The Orioles are starting to excite me here about baseball already.

Yeah I would think so if they also pick up Vlad and Pudge.

yeah if, I don't think they will get Pudge. I think Pudge is gonna stay in the N.L., and I think Vlad will maybe go to Oakland or to California or something in the Pacific division.

Baltimore is looking going to be fantistic this year. Just means more competition for the Blue Jays

It's pretty doubtful that Pudge will stay in the NL. The Orioles are supposedly very close to getting him according to our newspapers and are easily the top team in the running for him. If the Orioles get Pudge, then Vlad will be a lot easier to grab. With 2 All Star quality spanish speaking players signed, I think he would be pretty easy to get. Especially with no other teams really in the running right now for him and the Orioles being the clear #1.

Pitching will still be a problem for them this year, but they've got a few nice young arms. With a potential 3, 4, 5 batting order like that though, they will be one very dangerous team if they can grab both Pudge and Vlad.

    ESPN Baseball vs. Hi

I'd be interested. I am new here.

I am really looking forward to seeing which baseball games are Live this year. I only got Live last month, so I never got or played Inside Pitch. Doesn't sound like I missed much. I sure hope the successor to WS2K3 will be played on XBL. That would be cool.

I'm still waiting to hear anything and everything about MS' acquisition of High Heat and what that will mean. I sure hope they improve it and make it XBL. It would be good to have two decent baseball games competing against each other to be the best on Live.

I wouldn't think that MS would have two titles in baseball. I'd think that either the name "Inside Pitch" or "High Heat" would be gone. Maybe they'll make it a hybrid, "High and Inside Heat"? On second thought, that doesn't sound that good.

Um, did they all get advanced copies of ESPN MLB or something?

No sense in organizing a league 2 months before the start date... not when most noobs flake out.

The "noobs" that you speak of are people that are already in previous seasons of NFL, NBA, and College Hoops

My point was that many people new to any forum or league, especially in a 1st season with a new game, tend to flake out since they can't handle the commitment they signed up for. Or, they signup for something well in advance, and then you never hear from them again. It's just easier to do signups and discuss the league's settings/rules etc, when you actually have members with the game in-hand, rather than a bunch hype.

    Next topic.
