Btw: I'm not discrediting other teams goalies, or saying we at SYR deserve the award. I am curious

Leprechaun deserves all goalie awards guy is a beast anyone else who thinks they deserve it must first try to steal his magical gold because he is the best hands down

 

Haters

 

The Harry 'Hap' Holmes Award is a team based award. It's given to the Goaltender's of the Team who has allowed the fewest Goals in the Regular Season. In real life, WBS Penguins have won it 4 of the last 5 times.

all your opinions are irrelevant, your thanks per post ratios are weak. I've never had haters before this season, but I guess when you're the highest paid player in the league on a conference winning team people get all sensitive. When did the forums become a place of peace and modesty? Fight me bitch

 

You've turned into a savage, gone are the days of you being the quietest soul in these forums. I like it.

but I didn't really have a choice, the same 3 nubs kept me coming in here to defend myself and teammates, apparently
some people didn't like that I stood up for us.
I never used to say anything in the forums unless it was team related, but mention yourself after 17-1 and everyone thinks I'm some big head now. Can't wait til these forums go back to normal.

Getting feisty in the AHL forums is a cliche. Rise above.

 

I think for awards like MVP,and management of the year take a look at Toronto Marlies. After starting the season off 8-2 week 1 too 9-1 week two, and having 4 wins taken away on miscommunication from
the NHL management,in week two. And then week 3 losing almost every game, and throughout the season the NHL calling players up last min,management was still able to make trades to keep there team competing and never forfeiting any games. Weeks where 7 Tcs were used and still finished 6th in the conference. The team acts like a family and communicates in Whatsapp daily, making not only friends but guys they know they can trust to play with. Guys who don't complain or blame each other they simply call out there own mistakes, and give constructive criticism to each other without fights,arguing,etc. Involving everyone in decussions about plays/positioning and each players thoughts on lines and what they think could change to make us better. This team has shown throughout the season they are resilient and willing to learn from mistakes and not just call it quits like many others have throughout the season in the league. In my opinion I couldn't have asked for a better group of guys to enter playoffs with, and win or lose I know there will be friendships that were made that will last many years. The hours spent this season practicing and working together to be a better team every step of the way, have not been wasted but made us all better players. When it comes to roster depth this team has it all.

Well with UOHL folding, and you quitting IOHL, you were able to invest all that time, which clearly was waaaaayyyyyy too much, on one team and one league!

Glad to see after 18 seasons over all dem leagues, you finally managed a decent season. Though there seems to be some kind of virtual hockey God on OKC's side, as a 24-5-3 record in one goal games is rather insane. We shall see if that continues through the playoffs.


Also, if people could stop nominating themselves for awards please, just let the committee, or whoever it is decide these awards. Especially for GM of the year. Most of the time the GM of the team with the best record isn't the most deserving. Teams have real struggles and rise up, or a GM pulls off a big trade to turn their season around. I understand though, you're excited about your nice season, and want to be recognized. It reminds me a lot of [MENTION=6623]Garis93[/MENTION] and how he wants to be recognized for his cute season.
