Dressing Room Error fix

I think this is a legit fix for the DR errors in club.

From your PS4 menu:
Network settings -> set up connection -> use a LAN cable -> custom -> Automatic IP address -> DHCP Host name do not specify -> DNS Manual Primary 8.8.8.8 secondary 8.8.4.4 -> MTU automatic -> proxy do not use

I'm legitimately stupid when it comes to technology so I don't know if there's anything you can do like this if you're on wifi but hope this helps some people anyways.

Well, I am thinking it must be server related. So this may not be a bad idea even if they are slower servers in the area you live in.. It may at least be a band aid for now. I will try the Google servers (8.8.8.8 and 8.8.4.4) and let you know what I find. Even though they get lower response time in my area and are not ideal they may also have the latest software and firmware updates in them. I will post back my finding

I currently us the ones assigned by my ISP Dynamically. I am going to change both in my Modem and my PS4 and see what I get.

 

So far for myself it's worked far better. I couldn't get into a single game before, then I tried this and I've had minimal issues.

I had mine set up that way before I got the game and it happened anyway. Those are the google DNS servers BTW. I posted a fix on the CHL chat just a few minutes ago that has nothing to do with the connection. Who knows, as long as it works, right?

 

Yeah, I don't know if it will work for everyone but it definitely helped me, and a friend of mine said it helped them too, so if it helps anyone else then that's good enough for me.

This was also my fix during the beta. Been spreading it with people I play with and it has worked for them. Obviously in no was scientific or a guaranteed thing, but it has worked for us.

Well I was 3 for 3 using the Google DNS servers. I hope they fix this as they are not the ideal servers for the NE but this will work for now.

 

I am in Western Canada and this did not work for me at all. 3for 3 still getting dressing room errors. Is there anything else that may work? I tryed the Google servers. Does the other one work better @B-Bunny?

if I had a suggestion here I would go into your modem and change the DNS servers there to the Google servers as well because if you just change it in your Playstation only your modem is still using the corrupted servers therefore changing in your Playstation only does you no good

 

make sure it's your modem your gateway to the internet and not your router because your router talks to your modem it has to be the modem that it gets changed in
