Goalie Only League?..lol.

i was valiquette earlier today in a goalie vs goalie match and i just held both sticks down the whole game, i got a shutout. The guy is 6"6 so he covers teh whole net. i also find that it is easier to play in the normal player view and not the goalie view. you can see the whole ice and every player which makes it easier

 

I swap between views, depending on where the puck is on the ice.

 

Likewise. That back button comes in handy.

 

yeah but everyshot that it top shelf is damn near inpossible to stop

 

That's exactly why this league will be great, the AI mixes it up. It doesn't shoot high glove side every single shot

BleedBlueBlood is hoping to run this one. He's a seasoned veteran here and knows what is expected of league members (he's been here since Aug '04)

I wouldn't be giving this a second look if it weren't A)an official LG sanctioned league, and B)Commissioned by a veteran who I trust to keep up with the commitment involved :wink:

 

I'm a newbie to the fourm, but I've love to play in a goalie only league... Count me in if you want.

 

I've hit a snag, there's new developments happening with my availability. I don't think I will be able to commit to running this league. I've been asked to return to my GM duties for the Team League season 3, to which I was originally leaving. With these responsibilities as well as my current leagues, and 2 more upcoming shortly, there's no way I will be able to devot enough time to run this properly. I would have loved to get this off the ground, but I'm going to have to let someone else handle it right now. It would just be too much on my plate.....

 

Although I don't know what all is involved, I'd be willing and would like to run it.

Like elk said, If you need someone to help run this (i know 1 man only pretty much needed) and i haven't ran a LG before and i'm not a vet, But i would take this LG for myself if needed. Hell even slow elk and I together can do this together.

 

Someone please get this League up n Running..im lookin fwrd to strappin on the pads.

 

Please count me in too. I think goalie is far and away the funnest to play online.

I'll keep an eye on this thread for an official signup.

EDIT: I would also volunteer to help run the league if need be.
