I have sent in a "bid" i guess you can say requesting to run this league. I have been on LG not as long as alot of vets but I think i could run this with the help of slow elk. Elk and I were on the same team last season and get along great. I hope to hear from someone ASAP about this.
I hope we'll be able to get this thing going. Goalie vs Goalie....possibly the most exciting league that could be here. All we would need for the first season, a trial season, would be a forum. I don't think we would need a scoreboard just yet. We could "Sticky" a few threads for; 1) East scores thread: just score, shots, saves 2) West scores thread 3) League rules thread 4) and of course a fight thread ;-) .

this may be put on the shelf till next year's game. check the team league forum, they're having a behind the mask classic. more people have expressed interest in that so far. we may just need to bump this thread in september when 09 comes out.
Yhat is for 3on3 with goalies....lol not to many ppl come into this forum, I bet a primuim donation if we put this in the LG team forums it would hit 300 + hits in no time.

i will start one in there, would we still have AHL teams in there with people who are permanent goalies?
I think it would be neat to do Goalies Only with 1 person players.. 2v2 format.. And set it up so one person is main goalie and 1 is mainly offense. In this case, an example, me and youppi together as the Wings.. If I was mainly goalie.. Any game I was goalie in, I would be Hasek, when he was goalie he would be Osgood. And set it up so the backups had to play a certain amount of games, like in LG singles.
that is actually a pretty nice idea, i was also thinking of something along the lines of having just a bit of human offense
