Well, last night ended up the home season for Eastern Kentucky University. The final score was EKU 10 - UC 5. Their tenth season of club hockey ended with a 6-5-0-2 record, with a game tonight in Cincinnati to be played still.
Going to the Leafs final game of the season vs pitts. Kinda ironic as i went to the leafs first spring season game this season
I go to a lot of the AHL games for the Manchester Monarchs. They are the minor league LA Kings team if you weren't aware.
Well I just got an awesome present from my wife... well I got it earlier (not at 0440). A ticket to :hdet: @ :hstl: 12/5/2006 - Brett Hull Jersey Retirement Night in St. Louis
Assuming that you went with Derek, I think you sat one section over from me. I also went to the Leafs-Red Wings game on Sunday. Alas, I probably won't be able to get out to anymore games this year. The scary thing is that the two preseason games I went to would have cost me more than $700 had I paid for the tickets.
I'm going to the :hnyr: @ :hbuf: game on Oct. 14. I would go to the home opener but thats $63 for the cheapest seat. Here in BUF we go by color coded games. We have Gold, Silver, and Bronze games. Gold games are rivalries/big games, Silver are not rivalries but are not "crappy" games, and Bronze is when you face the bad teams of the league (i.e. :hwas.
Sounds like the prices have gone up there over the last few seasons. I went to a Sabres-Canucks game about 4 years ago when they were running the Canadian $ on par nights for games against the Canadian teams (other than Toronto). We had a group of 8 guys and we got 8 seats in a row at about the 10th row and it cost us $80 per seat. I miss the old Aud where I would drive down to Buffalo after school and pick up tickets for $10 in the upper sections. Oh well, I do quite like the new arena however.
I'm planning on going to the :hchi: @ :hcal: game on November 22nd (my 21st bday). Should be fun but it is a 5 hour drive to Calgary.
Yeah its quite expensive now. It was cheap as heck the season before the lockout since Buffalo was in such trouble (thanks to the Rigas assholes), but since then its gone up. I like the color coded pricing system though. Last year they priced a BUF vs. ATL game at like $20 for the nose bleeds, so that was a great deal considering ATL is a good team to watch vs. the Sabres (to me at least). I miss the Old Aud as well, it was what I grew up in learning the sport of hockey.
I'm going to game 1 tonight :hnyi: @:hphx: hopefully the Yotes beat up on the 87 million man (Yashin) and the 67 million man (Dipietro) Tonight. Going on Saturday Also :hana: @:hphx:
went to the igloo last night.. pens actually played like a TEAM for once!! heading back up on saturday to see the Red Wings..
