IF LG stays on NHL 14...

If LG decides to stick with NHL 14, we could also incorporate some type of 30 team NHL 15 NHL roster otp from xbox one once its out.

Only have the 30 nhl teams, certain amount of players per roster, snake draft style, etc etc. Nothing to big to cause issues by playing in both leagues but something to test out the OTP and NHL rosters.

I dont have more to add this this by any means yet but just an idea to start off of.

 

we made a lobby last night and played 6's with NHL teams. I think the line changes, real players and arenas add a cool feel to things.

 

It'll never work, the league wont run two leagues as said in the force read we got yesterday. The league is staying on the 360 until nhl 16.

 

Im talking about doing both at once....once otp is even released which no one knows when.

 

As soon as otp is released, I'll probably just finish out the season(if on 14) and just stick to current gen. I'm sure we'll see some sort of side league pop up to. It wouldn't be to hard to have nightly lobbies either.

So LG on 14, and then LG have a smaller league that no one is forced to sign up for on the one...

 

I posted earlier about this. For people who already have the xbox one, will want to buy NHL 15 for the one. People who dont have the X1 will obviously want to buy nhl 15 for the 360.

Everyone will eventually have to get an X1 for NHL 16 so it only makes sense to play another LG year on NHL 14.

Just so most people dont have to buy 2 copies of NHL 15

Club game play cannot be much different than NHL 14. EA wouldnt spend a shit load of time on NHL 15 EASHL for the 360.

14 is a fine game besides the bouncing puck to have to suck it up for another year.

 

Not interested in staying on 14 any longer.

This sounds like a great alternative for people who own an Xbox One and will be getting NHL 15. Hopefully they don't screw up the OTP because I saw in the game modes article EA released that at first you can only do drop-ins for OTP then they'll add a party/group feature later on.

 

I don't see this being a problem, put the game times an hour or 2 before/after LG times or Friday/Saturday/Early Sunday nights to give people who have 15 on the XbOne the ability to play in an organized league, while remaining in the LGHL. I don't see why this would be shot down.

 

I personally will buy nhl 15 on both consoles I dont care I will play eashl on the 360 and everything else on the one so I would like to do some sort of league on the one if possible once the otp patch comes out. All I know is I want my boy Carey Price if its with NHL players

the odds of EA getting OTP in the game before Christmas are slim. The odds of them putting it in the game and then updating it so you can invite friends and make private rooms? not happening this year IMO

 

A handful of us were naive enough to believe that EASHL and OTP would be in the next gen version of NHL 15. Lets not fall for the same tricks this time around. Facts are, EA is going to add a drop in style "position lock" (OTP) with NHL teams sometime around Christmas or just after. That's it that's all. Once they get that part out they will discontinue any work on NHL 15. Just like every other year all we will see from that point out is roster updates/tuner sets. They will make up some sort of story that they tried to get EASHL and OTP lobbies into the end of NHL 15 around February, but they will then instead feed it into the hype surrounding NHL 16 as a new improved version to be released for 16. NHL 15 on next gen just will not be an option for this year for league or club play. They've told us that already in a "read between the lines" sort of way.
