League Reaction.

Its buying a second game for the 360 that should have been on the one, for most of us.

 

Ok as the guy who posted "Fuck 15 its a waste" the most, I can't say how wrong I was after playing it.

- Pokechecks actually fucking work.
- Stick lifts actually lifts the persons stick on the first time you hit it, not 10 tries.
- People don't instantly pick the puck back up after being poked or stick lifted.
- More fast paced play.
- The dump and puck bouncing 50 feet high is gone (as many people said)
- It would appear it you have no balance on your guy, you're going to get fucking decked by any and all that come at you at a decent speed.
- If that one fucker who just wants to dangle in circles in OTP and not pass really annoys you, you can lay him the fuck out no matter if hes on your team or not.
- Overall smoother gameplay.

Only con I see so far is that goalies are still going full fucking on weak shots along the ice from the point some times.

Other than that, this game is definitely worth it if you have excess money and want a good hockey game. I know I traded in like 6 old games I didn't play anymore and got it for 28 bucks but shit, worth it.

For all those complaining it looks the same, it's the 360 there's not much they can do graphic wise they tapped all the power out of the console that they could imo.

Thanks. These were all things I was asking about earlier today in league chat. For others out there who are or were skeptical, please do post your experiences. We may not believe the various tools, shills, and Aherns of the world, but reviews from reputable independent parties will change minds.

 

They Clearly stated that the poll was NOT the decided factor in the decision BEFORE you voted. Maybe you idiots should read the thread before u fawkin rage vote against EA...

 

First of all, there's no need to be name calling or swearing.

Second of all, I did read the post and I did understand.

Third of all, compare the spelling and grammar in my posts to yours and rethink who the idiot is.

 

I apologize for being out of line. Reading through this thread has contributed to me typing like the idiots in here. If you understood the poll, you should not be complaining. Also, if you have been in the NHL forums any longer than a week, you would know that there is an excessive amount of swearing and idiots. So get used to it, friend.

I am not angry at all. I find it funny that some people didn't read the thread with the poll before voting. Not all of the voters, but an alarming amount of rage voters have been discovered.

Just throwing it out there that most people here have a brain and won't blindly rage (unless you beat them with some incredibly lucky only in NHL 14 bounce in which case we will call out your whole family and attempt to break your virtual heart.)

For the most part, yes you are right. However, the 50 people that have come on the forums and chat box in the last few days complaining that the poll was pointless because it's result wasn't the same as the leagues decision, those people are "idiots" for not reading the damn thread first my friend.

For the most part, those are the guys who have yet to play 15, but watched it and have seen it looks exactly the same at first glance. From their point of view, their upset because over 50% of the people who voted in the pool picked NHL 14.

While yeah, Brodie/Tris made it clear that it would only be used to get a feel for what everyone wanted most people think that the game should have been picked by whatever the majority voted, plus how the situation was handled wasn't ideal in any way shape or form (I mean, telling people you'll poll them to see what we all want then saying nvm I'm picking the game alone is a pretty shitty way to go about it, even if it was in the interest of time.) Either way though, it was the right call to move forward NHL 15 is a lot more actually skill rather than EA's bounces deciding who wins. Anybody who's played 15 could see that. Most of the guys who are complaining are the guys who think a) EA fucked us all so why not fuck EA right back, b) it looks exactly the same so what's the point in paying $70, or c) haven't played the game (though there's really no way unless they blindly picked it up today or paid $20 for the early access.)

Either way once they realize how big the changes to the game were they'll pick it up and stop posting about the Admin's choice.

 

lol, I understand why people are frustrated. That's not the issue. The issue is the people raging on the forums about the decision being different than the poll. That is all. It's stupid.

 

The same thread you're referring to also stated there would be a second poll which did not happen. My theory is that the admins knew the poll would be heavily favored towards NHL14 but they were planning on playing NHL 15 the whole time anyway so they didn't want that to happen.

I just feel lied to, mainly by EA but they aren't the only culprit.
