Until they start making programable t-shirts, I don't think tris will be designing any.

Hey ... Xboxjon put the site where and the price already down... it cost $157.87....

WE just need 10 bucks from 15 people...

    20 people its $7.85

    25 people its $6.28

    30 people its $5.23

Its basicalyy this..if we can get some people that will pledge some money and get enough people to do it.. the cost for each individual would go down...

And then we dont have to deal with this for a year...
We have 30 people in alot of leagues that should be of the working class.. that I would think 5 bucks isnt that much.. (And im sure im one of the poorest here..) but ive been here since march, 7 months of some of the most entertaining discussions as well as leaguegaming ive ever had...

35 people its $4.48.. comon.. that aint much at all..

First, it costs more then what jon posted as i needed extra options like scheduled taskes and extra dns names,

Second as flattered as i am that people are willing to donate money, i would be looking long term. IE if 500 was collected that would ensure the hosted for about 2-3 years. As it stands right now i always felt it was kinda insulting to ask for "handouts" from other members, Leaguegaming is my passion! So much so i've accepted the fact that it will cost me a lot more then time to keep it running

The biggest problem would be collecting the money, to accept Credit cards you would need a merchange account, then they take a %, plus you need a monthly fee jsut to keep that running, ect ect

Well I am not of the working class, so keep me out of this discussion :p

J/K, I would be more than glad to help.

Tris bro, I may be seen as immature by many different people here, but hey, I am sure I speak for lots of us here at LG...we would be more than willing to help out financially!

PayPal, very small transaction fees (none to send money), and no maintence fees (only a small fee to accept CC payments, per transaction).

    Tris-

I promise you if you use PAYPAL they take a small % fee and people can use credit cards, debit their checking accounts etc. It really is easy and there is not time from you except to set it up which takes maybe 30 minutes tops. I totally agree that a lot of dedicated gamers here are willing to help and I for one am definitely going to help one way or another. If you need help with Paypal PM me and I will help you get it set up. I agree that you should not have to shulder the burden, even if it is your passion. I know not one person believes that you are looking for a profit just pay the expenses. Please consider this.

    exactly

i understand its your passion.. but im kinda hooked on it to.. lol. im on the internet quite often and this is the first site I go to and last site i lookat when i get off the internet..lol I look at it at work.. It might be your creativity that drawed people here but its turned into a meeting place and some pretty good friendships as well.. I think its good for us to help.

$5 might not pay the entire bill but it makes your (tris10) part alot less.. that way you can spend the money on something else... suchas football..lol jk...

i'd say if an average amount to be given as "gift" or "token" is $10 (x approx. 70 members) thats $700!!! that will make it good for at least 3-4 years

i guess tris, you're not alone having this site and playing LIVE games as your passion.

Hey Tris10...I use paypal for some of my hosting accounts and it works great. No worries about any contracts or merchant fees it's simply awesome. I'd suggest making donations in USD though.

If you guys want to pursue the shirt and hat market let Army and I know...we can come up with some idears.

Tris please set up a pay pal account. Your hard work is very appreciated. This is the least that we can do. I wasnt enjoying my LIVE experience until I saw XBJ's sig 2 yrs or so ago. I believe he had this site on his sig. When I came here, the NHL league only had about 8-10 teams. Now you, Jon, and all the members have made it the best sports site on the net. You know you're doing an awesome job, when other sites steal your ideas. And we all know what that site is.

I'm here, i even made a paypal account to see whats it again.

I also looked at Cafepress, and i wasn't to impressed with what i saw. If i'm going to put the LG logo on shirts and hats, i want to do it on merchantice that i would want to wear. For example if we were to do a LG shirt, i'd expect it to be higher quality golf or semi casual dress shirt rather then a sweat shirt that you'd only wear while your doing the rest of your laundry
