Hmm...seems like more and more problems are occuring. Doesn't seem like anything that a patch or two cant fix.

When I had that problem with my GR IT I called Xbox and it could be the way that one of you has your router hooked up, that is what they told me, but I think it is a bunch of BS

    It's BS.

I disabled Dolby Digital in my dashboard settings and the game works fine now.

    Obvious bug here.

Is there a difference between DD5.1 and Dolby Surround? When I go into my Xbox Dash I only have Dolby Surround as an option? Am I missing something?

Yes. You don't have your audio hooked up to your receiver using an optical cable. Does your receiver support digital and do you have the A/V pack? If so your XBOX should have two options directly below the AUDIO MODE DOLBY SURROUND option which are, in order, DOLBY DIGITAL ENABLED and DTS ENABLED. Hope that helps.

My receiver has optical inputs just not for the 5.1. :( My 5.1 inputs are analog. Weird.

I think optical inputs are just for digital. That is really weird. I take it you have an older receiver then. Too bad.

It's only two years old! It's the Sony ES444. I have optical inputs for the DVD, CD, MD, TV/SAt but the 5.1 inputs are analog. Doesn't make sense. I get 5.1 throught the DVD cause I use the fiber optic but I don't think there is a way for me to get my Xbox through. There must be.

    Here's my receiver:

I figured out how I am going to do it. I will use the TV (optic) input & S-video for the Xbox and move my digital cable to Video 1 input. That will get it done. What's better? DD Enabled or DTS Enabled?
