Excellent post XBJ...that's a ton of information. I agree with your analysis on the logo's frequent appearances in the show. It's around too much to disregard...similar to the numbers. Those two items are pieces of the puzzle what they mean though is beyone me. I read the article posted at My Geeky Place, and it does hold some very interesting coincidences with Lost. The fact that the French lady and Desmond (The Aussie) have spoken about the fact that everyone became sick on the island holds some weight. Also, the large magnetic field (similar to the one Jack discovered in the bunker) sounds very convincing. Only time will tell, but this is the best theory that I have seen so far.
so, in this weeks show, where the count down hit zero there was a bird and what looked like a rocket on the clock... Anyone know what is up with that?
yeah, there was also something that looked like a twig on there. From right to left from what I saw: (something here didn't catch it, almost looked like an X ) rocket bird twig or a branch from a tree
i've totally lost interest in this show. Week after friggin week I cannot wait to see it until I actually do. Then I wonder why the hell I just watched it. They just keep doing the same formula over & over again. Introduce new plot twists that end up going nowhere I cannot wait till the new season of Rescue Me After 24, it's by far the best show on TV
This show always runs a few min past 10pm, and my PVR always cuts. What did that american general say to Sieed (sp) right when he cut is ropes ?
can't remember his exact statement but it was something along the lines of... "one day you'll be in a situation where you need information, and we've given you the skills to be able to get what you need"
Dang....this show just fly's by. The hour is so quick. I want more.....great show last night although nothing got resolved. Its goiing to be a good season (Hopefully)
They are doing this mainly because the show doesn't do well with repeats. Ususally they just scatter the repeats through the season. This year they are going to group the them together and just air a different show instead of the repeats. Don't worry though, you will see a full season order before the tv season is done.
From what I read the production of the show takes forever too as it's filmed on location in Hawaii. Personally, last nights episode was one of the best mid-season cliff hangers ever. My wife is going to be pissed if they kill off Sawyer though.
They do produce just as many episodes as other shows. You will get a full season of Lost this year. I know you guys are just expressing your disappointment that we won't get our Lost fix for months, but I like this better as we don't get as many repeats. Every show should do this, or do what 24 does and only air it in the 2nd half of the TV season with no repeats.
Interesting update - The new show they put on in place of Lost (Day Break) has been getting lower ratings than the Lost repeats were getting. Maybe they would have been better off just keeping the schedule with the repeats. I did catch the new show and thought it was pretty good, although I'd probably get tired of it fairly quick.
