Management Application Season 16 (Sept. NHL14)

We are now accepting owner applications for the upcoming season (in Sept.). If you are interested in running a team or being a part of a management team please post in this thread. Remember that taken on a management role you are acknowledging you have the time to do the job and will be accountable for doing the required work needed to run a team within league standards and regulations.

Basic Description, but not limited to

Owners: (selected by Commissioners w/LO recommendations)

• Responsible for handling all team matters and their website/league responsibilities such as editing lines, inputting game stats, etc.
• Owners are responsible for their players (and fellow management) at all times and are expected to educate and direct players in regards to all league rules.
• Owners are responsible for the general upkeep and maintenance of their NHL & AHL rosters.
• Owners are responsible for overseeing and directing tasks throughout the organization and setting guidelines for how the team(s) are to be run. This includes empowering their GM and AHL staff in regards to roster moves, trades, etc as they see fit.
• Owners should set the example in all activities at LG, including their conduct and maintenance of their roster. Owners should continue the recruitment of quality players and people to the website.

NHL General Manager: (Selected by team owner)

• Will assist the Owner as needed. The Owner may decide what tasks the GM is responsible for in regards to anything the team needs.
• GM's are responsible for the management of their team as directed by the Owner.
• In the event an Owner can't continue in the league, anyone accepting a GM role is responsible for interim Ownership for at least one week. Failure to do so will result in future season suspension(s).
• The GM may be responsible for overseeing and guiding the AHL roster, in addition to any tasks the AHL GM may need. This is at the discretion of the Owner to assign tasks as needed to ensure the AHL is being handled correctly.

AHL General Manager: (Selected by team owner)

• Will assist the Owner as needed. The Owner may decide what tasks the AHL GM is responsible for in regards to anything the team needs.
• May be responsible for running the AHL team completely as needed within the guidelines and structure of the league.
• Will be instructed by the Owner in regards to what tasks they will be responsible for. This includes roster moves, trades, transactions, etc.

Selection Process for AHL GM:

• A player may waive his rights to play or be called up to the NHL and be selected by a team Owner prior to the draft.
• An Owner can appoint a player after the NHL draft OR after the AHL draft. This NHL player will fall under the typical guidelines for roster and player transactions

CHL Owner: (selected by Commissioners w/LO recommendations)

• These owners will be independent of the NHL organizations and will have control over their players.
• Responsible for handling all team matters and their website/league responsibilities such as editing lines, inputting game stats, etc.
• Owners are responsible for their players (and fellow management) at all times and are expected to educate and direct players in regards to all league rules.
• Owners are responsible for the general upkeep and maintenance of their CHL rosters.
• Owners should set the example in all activities at LG, including their conduct and maintenance of their roster. Owners should continue the recruitment of quality players and people to the website.

CHL GM: (Selected by owner if needed)

• Will assist the Owner as needed. The Owner may decide what tasks the GM is responsible for in regards to anything the team needs.
• GM's are responsible for the management of their team as directed by the Owner.
