Yeah, unfortunately the beach areas are starting to return into a retirement home. Nah, don't think my parents would really approve of me playing with a 48 year old guy that I met on XBOX Live, would you let your kids?

Why don't we do it just like the NFL season, only each division is a real life conference. So we'll have 6 different conferences (divisions, i.e. NFL), of 5 teams each.

 

I like that idea, just try to place teams as close to there real conferences and fill the others in where needed. 30 people would be perfect.

 

Just remember, in NCAA college football, there is no playing the same team twice in a season like the NFL. Unless, of course, they meet in the conference championship game or a bowl game.

I would really hate to see College football transformed into NFL football with college teams.

6 Divisions - 5 Teams

You play the Teams in your Division. 4 Games

Then Play 1 Team Randomly chosen from the Other 5 Divisions. 5 Games

9 Games Played then the Playoffs.

 

1 game a week? pretty please

 

2 games per week would work out fine just like we do in the NFL league....I think if we only have 1 game per week some people might start to lose interest in the league

 

I tend to like the 1 game a week theory as some guys like to play other games and don't want to get overwhelmed in a one week period. Plus some of us work and have limited time in the evenings to get games in.

 

I would love to play in an NCAA league. It would be sweet!

 

Well I know some people are involved in other leagues and woudl like to keep the games a week to a minimum to be able to fit it all in, but I think we should see when the game is almost out who is still interested and then out of those people take a pole. Cuz I know with the NFL league they lost a ton of interest when it was only 1 game a week.

 

the 2 reasons why im not joining the NCAA FOOTBALL league:

1. dont know much of american football :wink:

2. if i join too many leagues, my other leagues (mlb, nhl) will suffer due to the scheduling and getting games done.

Ahhhh, common you need better reasons than that.

 

I'd be down for either two a week or one a week. Just as long as the play isn't on Sat.. I also like the idea of 6 conferences 5 teams each. Would we have a playoff system or would we vote for each team each week? Of course that would get pretty biased. I mean in all seriousness when the Toledo Rockets run wild on Michigan there'd be no way you can vote for Michigan, it's kind of a no brainer.
