I say allow people to play ahead if they want. That would allow those with time to play more and those who cannot to just meet the goal of 1 game a week.
Count me in as well: Got to go SEC. The ONLY conference worth a damn I know don't even go there all you other pretend conferences. 1. LSU 2. Georgia 3. Tennessee 4. Alabama Baby Conference: 5. Ohio State 6. Penn State Those are the teams I would prefer in order. Don't hate the League(sec), hate the other lame asss leagues.
The only thing I'd see wrong with letting people play ahead is if we have a coaches poll or ap poll of some kind each week it wouldn't work because one team could have play 6 games while another team has only played 2 or 3 games. But we have plenty of time to figure this all out
Agreed. I would say no playing ahead, but we would have too see what we would do for the configuration first.
I agree that playing ahead shouldn't be as people feel free to do. It should remain as 1 game per week. The exception to this rule should be a pending Vacation or a change in someones work schedule. That decision should be made by the commisioner(s) of the league. The same is done in the Links singles tourneys!
What about as for the NHL league, as in the NHL league it is that if you and your opponent have played 2/3 of your games for the week, your game will unlock for the next week. What about if you and your opponent were to play your games? Just a suggestion, but I agree, 1 game a week don't go too fast, don't go any slower and make it two weeks. If you can't get a game in, within a week, you don't deserve to play, but sometimes it happens, and whenever it does happen, there is usualy a valid reason in which it happened.
Perhaps, the game will utilize the Live upgrade Tsunami allowing you to do your own leagues, in which case maybe there is some kind of determination or threshold on how long you have to play or when. Maybe it won't though, it may be much easier than ya think.
The NHL schedule does work pretty well. It could be set up to where if you complete your game for the week next weeks game will unlock, but you could only play no more than 1 week ahead. That would help for working around work, family, vacations, and other responsibilities that may jump up in the summer months. The polls in college football always have some teams that have played more games than others due to byes etc. If we only go 1 week ahead only, at least all the teams will be within a game of each other and should settle out near the last few weeks of the season when the polls matter the most.
I really hope EA or MS expose or release the details of any potential " Additional " charges. Because if I buy this game and then they dump these extra charges on us, I'm going to be sticking this game up someones .
I dont think we should let people play ahead of schedule and I think that we need to play somewhere around 16 or so games just like in the real NCAA. So if we have 6 conferences with 5 teams each, this is if we decide to have only 30 people. So you have 4 conference games. And then you could play 2 teams from 4 of the other conferences, and then 3 teams from another conference, preferably a rival conference. So that leaves you with 15 total games. To get to 16 you have the conference title game. I think that would be a great way to have everything scheduled. But I think that 2 games a week is necessary.
I'm not sure were everyone is getting all these games from, but last seasons Co-Champions played 13 games which included thier Bowl games. Most NCAA football teams have a 12 game schedule.
Yeah like TMG said most teams have a 11 game schedule and then their 12th game is the conference championship game.
Sorry, got a little mixed up with NFL, but yeah I know that Ohio State played like 13 or so games. I say do the same thing as I said but limit it to one team from some conferences.
