Is it different on NHL14? Can't remember.

 

I know it's laid out different. Just don't remember if they separated it like that or just 3 categories.

 

I don't know if the ratings are different but the potential rating is different forsure.

 

93 to a 96 for Toews, Ovie, Stamkos to Crosby? Sheesh.

 

Kesler 90, same as Giroux. Yeah those guys are even....

Kane's speed is so underrated every year.

 

Sidney Crosby has higher defensive awareness than Shea Weber....

 

Things that are terrible:

1. Only 4 or so usable centers in HUT again. Kopitar at 80 FO is a joke and most of the elite centers arent usable at center.
2. Ryan Kesler's ratings in general. 93 speed 90 FO puts him as the best right handed center in the game aside from Bergeron. No.
3. Tyler Seguin not being a top 50 player.
4. Ryan Mcdonagh having 87 speed despite being able to cover more ice than just about anyone.
5. Giroux having no strength/balance.
6. In general, just about every player is the same.
7. Pietrangelo has a good rating, but should have a dominant rating.
8. Duchene is by and large the best player in the game. I love the guy, but no.
9. Oliver Ekman Larsson not being a top 50 player.
10. Tavares and Perry are both too slow at 85 and 83 speed. They aren't fast players, but it seems like everyone and their mother has 86+ speed. JT couldn't skate when he was drafted but he can now.

 

Kesler at a higher overall than his 2011 peak, lmao.

This game sucks.

 

Another quirky thing to me is the new potential ratings. They are 100 percent overall based.

For example, Malkin, Lundqvist, Parise, Hall, Giroux, Tavares, etc. are all franchise players on their teams. But, because they don't fit some arbitrary stat criteria, they are only listed as elite players. Like I said, that isn't a huge deal, but it just seems kind of stupid to me.

Also, McDonagh and Kronwall are top 50 but Letang isn't. Wut.

 

anaheim is any right handed players go to. kesler at 90, perry and getz at 92

 

This is the most pathetic thing I've ever seen from them. Just awful. They think we all have down syndrome I guess and they just laugh at us with these shit things they call ratings.
