    it all depends how fast 83 and 85 speed are, in NHL 14, they are pretty slow but if the fastest guy in the game only has 87 speed, then they really aren't

    yea but duchene and hall are 95 speeds and there were some others that were like 93 92 speed so if anything it seems like they have boosted the speeds back up

    Its clear none of you are taking into account the new attribute "poise" when determining these ratings, lol.

    Kane rated lower then Kessel is fukn laughable.

    Not really, considering Kessel outscores Kane playing with much shittier line mates.

    Poise isn't new though. It was there in 14 and pretty sure it was in 13 too.

    Yeah, guy was real clutch in the Olympics when he didn't have the pleasure of playing weaker D-Pairings behind Toews.

    A lot of these of ratings and attributes are terrible and i think this has to do with EA's horrible weighting system. For example if you gave Ovi 70 D aware and 70 poke checking then his overall would be 85 instead of 93. An 85 for Ovi would obviously be very stupid considering he's a top 5 player and arguably the 2nd best player in the league. So to make up for this they give him defensive ratings that he dosen't deserve thus giving OVI a 93 overall and making there horrible weighting system work

    Some of these ratings are just awful. Gaborik isnt even in the top 50 and he'll still be the fastest and probably the best player in the game again.SMH,EA has the logic of a high kyle lake.

    Kopitar: 80 Faceoff is really some kind of joke. Guy is top 5 center at the dot in the NHL

    Hall: 27 Goals (33rd) 53 Assists (8th) 10.8 Shooting % (215th) Yeah, guys a wicked sniper.

    Kane: Deking 96 Puck Control 94 Acc 94 Agility 94 <--- Stop Complaining, who gives a fuck what his OVR is those stats alone will make him filthy.

    Karlsson: 94 Deking 95 Puck Control SSA 88 SSP 91 WSA 88 WSP 90 Speed/Accel/Agil all 93s, probably going to be one of the most dominant players in the game.

    Rinne a 91 is a joke, Kesler a 90 is a joke, they made Varlamov elite but I dont see Bishop.
