S20 Awards Discussion Thread

Your defense definitely helped you guys score more goals than us during the season... It wasn't your six 30+ goal scoring/60+ point scoring forwards at all.



You had all your forwards a lot longer than we had Fio or Bradley. Your latest acquirement at forward was Jamie all the way back at week 3 where as we picked up Brad and Fio at week 7.

Just trying to defend my teammate Duster.

Not taking anything away from Fournier x 97 as I think both goalies are deserving just think it is stupid that you people think Duster had a "super team" when your team was arguably deeper than ours all-around for most of the season and still is defensively.


Also I don't think Carolina should try to downgrade the great season they had just for awards.

 

Average players with above-average chemistry leads to great things!

 

Defending your teammate from what? No one said Duster was bad lol all we were doing was discussing the award and voicing our opinions regarding our own family and teammate. If you disagree then fine, but don't try and talk about my family like you know them. Without Fournier we wouldn't be where we are...plain and simple.

 

I wasn't talking about your family like I know them. Believe it or not I was actually throwing out facts that complement how great your guy's season was.

Also trying to support the Duster nomination because it wasn't getting as much as I think it should. Without him we probably wouldn't be in the position we are now.

I did not like this opinion as we were not a 'super team' for most part of the season when we relied a lot on our top lines and the play of Duster.

 

In all honesty, Duster did have a stacked offense in front of him. Some of the members of your defense were steals and some werent. But it all comes down to your fwds who either kept the puck out of their defensive end and put up a shit ton of goals during the season. Every Goalie in the league wishes they had Nashville in front of them. If I had them in front of me I wouldnt have faced almost 700 shots this season.
[MENTION=7800]Cooker1091[/MENTION]. Fournier is a decent G. Played against him in the cup Final when I was on Dallas. For sure he deserves a nod for the Vez.
