    Non playoff NHL teams in real life send down players all the time to the AHL club if there in contention. Norfolk Admirals 2012 Calder Cup good example. Problem is waivers. If a player has played 2 or more seasons and does not have a 2 way contract must clear waivers. And then if player is claimed by a team the new team can choose to also send player to their AHL affiliate without waivers.

    So basically the player is going down. But maybe not to his original AHL club.

    veterans with a 2 way contract are not typicaly game changers. Role players 30 or over.

    Member when Iowa put Land-Creature their 6th dmen on TC bc they couldn't afford him, seems like another loophole to me yet you cry about these supposed loopholes. Moose in 4

    I was never crying about anything, that was the first thing I said in this thread. What the moose are doing isn't against the rules and I never said it was. So get good buddy you are AHL for life.
