Thoughts on a 4vs4 t From what i read from an ign interview, teams won't be limited to just 2 during a multiplayer match... So that got me thinking of possible events/leagues consisting of 4 teams. I couldn't see a CTF working to well, but maybe a death match or something. What do you guys think?
CTF would only make sense to have 2 teams but I think a 4 on 4 on 4 on 4 Team slayer, Oddball, or King of the Hill would be great
yea 4 different teams on different types of games would be better. We also dont know the limit yet so hopefully Bungie was able to reach 24 players at once.
I wouldn't mind seeing a CTF type game, would be pretty cool if we could maybe get like a 8-16 vs 8-16. One quick question: How many teams will we probably have here at Leaguegaming? Also, what nights will team matches occur? Will it be maybe weekends? Last question: Will we have a single-player tournaments here.
i'm sure all of these questions would be answered sometime around the games release in november. right now the interest meter is rising... no need to know what day of the week games would be played. it'd be a matter of 'clan' vs 'clan' timing. when those two teams could go.. personally the team thing rocks. been playing rainbow 6 with a bunch of people on a consistent basis and have been involved in the 'clan wars' so to speak.. anywho here comes halo (in best homer voice) woo hoo
also at least a 4 vs 4 has to be allowed.. with experience 2 vs 2 could end up taking a long time.. even 6 vs 6 would be awesome. the maps are supposed to be bigger and depending on the game types we could have an all out war. very excited, oh yes
i only played deathmatch on the original halo but my preferance would be either 5 on 5 ctf or if the articles ring true a 4 way 4 vs. 4 ctf could be really sick.
I guess we really need to wait until the game is released. Who knows what gametypes Bungie has come up with. Based on Halo, I would have to agree that CTF would be Team vs. Team. DM, KING, and ODDball could be a 4 team battle. Oh man I am psyched and the game isn't out until November!
so is it like the wild chicken mode in crimson skies? skull spawn and random point each team tries to take it back to there base?
I wouldn't mind seeing a few different game types. We could have CTF and Slayer....anything would actually be cool.
I didn't think they had capture the flag anymore! I thought they called it something different like assault or something like that. Where you are in a base and the other team spawns on the beach, tries to infiltrate and get the flag and return it to the beach. Then after 3 minutes, you change sides. Now.. if you had 3 teams trying to get the flag from 1 team of 4, you could have a situation like the Alamo... being attacked by overwhelming numbers and from every direction.
Yea, that would be cool.....might be very hard for the guys inside though. Also, you better hope you have a lot of grenades, lol.
I wouldn't participate, but it would be cool. It's something differentiate yourselves from the ladder sites.
