Whoever holds the skull the longest wins. When you have the skull it's your only weapon. There are alot of strategies. I loved throwing the skull at the guy shooting me. When he caught it I got my gun back. Toast!
I personally don't like CTF, I find it incredibly frustrating, I prefer TDM or a last man standing type game play, however I realize that most people love CTF therefore I would still have no problems playing it in a league setting, bring on my warthog 4x4 sounds awesome, I just hope that we won't have too much lag with such big levels and 16 players
How would we choose teams? Draft players? Random? Play for awhile and then assemble fair teams? Some teams may get stacked and others may just plain stink. LOL, gotta figure that one out.
the same way we do teams for links and tennis. There is team captains and the captains hold a draft to assign players. From there its game on
Instead of all that hoohah.... if it is teams of 4... could we just maybe get 3 of our friends or people we would like to compete with and then the leftovers (people who cant assemble a team) can enter some sort of draft?
That would be cool but wouldn't it be tough to get 4 people from both teams to play at the same time? With the links and top spin system you sign up for a series of rooms that you would be available for making it much easier to fill time slots.
Or maybe we could gather teams of 4 and then a captain could draft his team and like 2 other teams. Each team would fill a certain time slot for their TEAM. Does make sense?
i myself would prefer something more team oriented ala capture the flag. i am not a big fan of deathmatch
I'm sure we could have CTF and also some Team Slayer....that would be cool to have 2 different types.
I think we should definetly mix up the different game types to use. Keep the game fresh and help keep team a that specializes in one area to dominate everyone.
I'm not sure mixing up the game types will keep teams from dominating because if you are good at TS then all it would take to dominate CTF is knowledge of the map which by the 1st month wont even be an issue.
