Dear banana league players

By now it should be fairly obvious that a 9PM won't be finished by 930, or that a 930 game won't be finished by 10 etc...

So let's start using some common sense and stop trying to play two consecutive games a half hour apart. Eleven other people shouldn't have to stare at their dressing room screen for 15 minutes because you fckn live for virtual leagues.

Well sempalix he said don't try to play consecutive games in the same night. It should be common courtesy anyway to not play a 9pm game in 1 league and try to play a 9:30 game in another

 

Set 3 game availability if you want to do leagues.

 

It's literally every night it seems were waiting on someone to finish their league. it's atrocious how long we've got to wait to get games in.

There are real connection issues so that's not the problem but people doing the following should NOT be stood for:

- waiting for guys in other leagues
- waiting for your " favorite" ecu to finish echl
- waiting till 9: 37 to ask for time

Why is it so hard for managers to get on 15 minutes early and get everyone together. if somebody isn't on you can have an ecu waiting in the wings

 

Traded quite a few X players off my roster for showing up late to games. I didn't put up with it then, and I don't babysit grownups. Everyone in this league should have the sense enough to schedule around their LG games.

The AHL is so much easier to schedule around because you can play an 8 o clock game and afterwards practice with your LG team for the 9:30 game.


TO the players of other leagues: (As I do the same myself) Excuse the caps, they are meant for the slow...

1. IN LG THEIR ARE ONLY 3 games a week, it is very easy to schedule around your LG games. you can even play the 8 o clock before a 9:30! Golly gee.

2. IN LG THEIR ARE ONLY 3 games a week, why the fuck are you scheduling yourself to play before your LG games anyway?

3. I feel like I touched on this already but... in LG you get 3 games a week... and you can play 10 in the other league so remove heads from asses?

Nothing wrong with playing more than one league, but if you are playing in another league at least use an iota of intelligence in scheduling yourself.

Your management team is not here to babysit your dumb grown up ass when you make believe that a game in another league will start and finish on time. Might as well announce a gameplay update that allows goalies to ride magical unicorns and shit rainbow pucks out their ass. It isn't true, it isn't happening, it will never happen.

Start taking forfeits if someone tells you their guys finishing an league game, they'll learn quick. It's a shit thing to do but there's enough issues in this game connection wise that prolong games.

 

Ask @Da Young Buck what happened tonight and San Jose management last week. nabby, bake and I will never take a ff win due to connection issues eever (within reason) hell we will even wait for your lg nhl game to finish but some of this is getting out of hand

 

Oh forfeits are a stupid way to win if you do it like right on the timer. Most of us (unless you're against Crass) will wait all night to play a game as long as you tell us before hand you won't be ready for 15-20 mins so we can do something other than twiddle our thumbs in the lobby. Playing in a league isn't a legitimate excuse.

Connection issue? Take your time, get an ECU on standby if needed.
LG NHL game? No worries bro.
league game didn't run completely perfectly in 30 mins so you could make LG, all because you're a moron? Better have an ECU cause when it's 15 mins after we getting that 1-0 win.

My point is that right now there's a good chance a game will start 15 minutes late because someone(s) has a connection issue. So the last thing teams should be doing is intentionally waiting 15 minutes before finding out if someone has connection issues. (Which is the reason the extra 15 minutes exists in the first place)

No one wants to start a 9:30 game at 10.

 

but thats the point..we had a goalie stuck in an LG game...not a league game..

3 of my 4 goalies couldnt play...its week 3 and we've already used 7 SKATERS in net. I finally found a G willing to ecu and get bitched at because he was in the 3rd period of an ECHL game


personally I always work with people in this situation. Apparently the extra time needed to actually play the game was too much.

I used the ecu system, blasted pm's all day trying to find a g...I was in contact with oh so country b4 the game...I even traded for 2 tc g's at 3 pm.

I had 1 person who could play and his echl game went longer than expected....im sure we're not the 1st team this has happened to..

and we're the ones living for it?

TC's have shrunk dramatically with the loss of p's with ecu eligibility, and to top that off most of our tc guys have echl games and arent just rotting on chl tc's like previous seasons.

shit like this is going to be pretty common now...deal with it how you wish...I know our team has and will continue to be lienient in the interest of playing games on the ice

 

This was the 3rd or 4th game in a row that its happened. Wasn't specifically talking about your team/players. But I will say the one time its happened to my team when i was playing I got an ecu to play instead of waiting for them to finish. I think others should do the same.

What happened to games starting ON TIME? It seems that the majority of gms don't even begin gathering their players till 9:30-1030 or later and then send at 40. I can't stand having my whole team sit there and just look at the DR the whole time while one guy on the other team is in or their just straight bojangling smoking or something. I don't think I've started a game at 30 in about 3 seasons. It would be nice to go back to gathering players around 20-25 and being ready to rock at 30 everytime. Only need extra time for emergency ecus or something, not or cause you wanna eat some more pudding
